5. You are absolutely right Hutton. After some dark weeks in the late 70s, the Fullerton era in the early 80s is showing up some top notch bass with first class built quality. This bass couldn`t been built better thank you and the others very much for your comments
6.
Hey M! Why are you selling this? This is, just, WOW!
hey my greek friend why? too many basses, so little time.or better, so much gas so little money.. i try to catch another 60s P, so this one has unfortunately to go.
Oh god. Birth year bass..... Must fight GAS!!!
Don`t fight it, take a deep breath, focus your thoughts and buy it!
ME TOO! Always wanted a 83 Fender....oh dear. If it was made in july I would have no option other than to buy it.
I will check the neck stamp in the evening
7. Heads up! For sale is this beautiful 1983 Fullerton made Fender Precision Bass. The colour is original and called ivory, the bass has got a one piece maple neck with amazing 57 specs, which i really love. As you can see, the bass is in an amazing condition, especially regarding the age of nearly 30 years. there is no mark or dent and i honestly searched for one. Beside the beautiful look, the bass sounds perfect, as well is the playability. Low action and no fretbuzzing. The Pickguard is a original Fender, but not original to the bass, the former white pickguard is not in my hands. Everything else is original and in absolutely mint condition. Price is xxxxxxxxxxxxx including shipping to europe. Please check my feedback for confidence
8. Wow. Tell us more. I love shoreline Gold! (Had an RBV in shoreline.)

11. Yes, done by my friend, who also did the hot chocolate brown metallic job on my jb. He is very precise and working with his heart and of course it is nitro
12. As promised in another thread, concerning the search for the right colour. This is my 1973 YOB former stripped, now sonic blue P bass, with one of the most fantastic maple necks i have ever played (J.Torres) I was thinking about refinishing the bass over 1,5 years. Now i am totally overwhelmed and pretty sure that i did the right thing. Let me introduce her to you..
13. Guys, as promised..she is ready! 1973 Precision
14. Wayne is like sunburst..you have to love this guy
15. Sunny greetings from germany to help rick bumperillo
16. Eat more beef!
17. I owned 6 jv basses all 57p and if you allow my experience, though they are great basses, they cannot compare to the 57 av ri. All av 57 ri i played and the one i own are outstanding basses in tone, wood selection and playability.they are top notch and are in my oppinion custom shop quality basses. If your heart desires that much for the 57av ri, go for it..you will not be disappointed. Honestly, i think after you went familiar with the new bass, you will smile about the rw and you will be happy, That you have done that.
18. How could i not take pictures of her and share them with you?
19.
A bit of research indicates that the relevant Dupont / DUCO code is 2295 (Cadillac Sonic Blue - year 1956). They should be able to match to that.
That`s what i have done

Thank you very much guys. Unfortunately Manchester Guitar Tech does not ship outside of UK Mainland, but eluth.com a french supplier linked on the page of Manchester Guitar Tech does ship to germany, as he confirmed me via email. That was a great help from you all. Thank you very much
20. As i mentionend in athread before, i want to refinish my 73 Precision in sonic blue. A really good friend of mine will do the work, as i am more than the wrong person for that. He did an awesome refinish in hot chocolate brown metallic on a jazzbass before. But we have one problem, we can`t find the colour sonic blue in germany. Does someone of you know where to get the colour? Would be perfect, if original colour, if not as similar as possible would be the choice Thanks in advance for any kind of help
21.

Discreet, what a wonderful and lovely beauty! Congratulations, even from the pics you know how the bass sounds. Also chapeau to the bassdoc, this bass shows how much this gentleman loves basses, it is obvious
