1. I owned 6 jv basses all 57p and if you allow my experience, though they are great basses, they cannot compare to the 57 av ri. All av 57 ri i played and the one i own are outstanding basses in tone, wood selection and playability.they are top notch and are in my oppinion custom shop quality basses. If your heart desires that much for the 57av ri, go for it..you will not be disappointed. Honestly, i think after you went familiar with the new bass, you will smile about the rw and you will be happy, That you have done that.
2. How could i not take pictures of her and share them with you?
3.
A bit of research indicates that the relevant Dupont / DUCO code is 2295 (Cadillac Sonic Blue - year 1956). They should be able to match to that.
That`s what i have done

Thank you very much guys. Unfortunately Manchester Guitar Tech does not ship outside of UK Mainland, but eluth.com a french supplier linked on the page of Manchester Guitar Tech does ship to germany, as he confirmed me via email. That was a great help from you all. Thank you very much
4. As i mentionend in athread before, i want to refinish my 73 Precision in sonic blue. A really good friend of mine will do the work, as i am more than the wrong person for that. He did an awesome refinish in hot chocolate brown metallic on a jazzbass before. But we have one problem, we can`t find the colour sonic blue in germany. Does someone of you know where to get the colour? Would be perfect, if original colour, if not as similar as possible would be the choice Thanks in advance for any kind of help

7. I just tried the Fender Filament 7120 for the first time on a jazzbass and i love the tone. As they are discontinued, i stumbled over the Picato 777LN. Does anyone of you mates have experience with those picato strings?
8. I love sunbeams on a jazzbass. Other strings i recommend thomastik powerbass (expensive) or elixirs. And of course galli rockstar nickel as the second choice after sunbeams.
9. Though they arereally nice I have seen them for sale twice the price in this link http://www.gbase.com/gear/fender-fender-jazz-bass-ventures-1996-black-b
10. Hi guys, as my refinisher of choice had health problems and isn`t able to refinish my P bass, i am looking for alternatives. My 73 P bass has been stripped to natural long time ago and my wish was to refinish the bass in sonic blue. Important for me or better the assumption would be, that the colour and finish is as original as possible. Are there recommendations from your side, so that i could find the right person to do the job? A roundabout price, if you have an idea, would be great as well. Thanks in advance for your kind help.
11. Wow, very nice indeed. Thank you for hat recommendation..but i was looking for a less pro version, even less pricey as the original sennheiser one. But i have seen similar mic spiders for around 10 euro i think, i may give them a try. Thank you very much

16.
Have you lifted the scratchplate? There was a Fender bass on eBay recently that had half of its body weight removed by a hole saw. You would never have known unless you took the pickguard off.
You would never have known, because the person who did this, was killed by a group of assasins that came out of the dark, called... the leominati
17. If i remember correct, this basses were a mixture of mexican parts assembled in usa, they say, so they could sell as MIA.
18. You may have a look here, top of the pops pickups If you need help, just let me know http://www.haeussel.com/index.php?lang=en http://www.barfuss-pickups.de/
19. The 300t is an amazing head and in my oppinion one of the best heads ever made. You may check the new fender bassman pro series they are really similar to the 300t.
