2. Mark sold me a copy of Jack Bruce's autobiography. Received in the post a couple of days after I paid, great book at a great price. Many thanks!
 3. PM'd - I've read the recent Clapton and Baker books so time to complete the trilogy!
 4. According to this thread, the answer is yes they do fit: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/132430-squier-precision-cv-series-with-john-east-p-retro-preamp-first-impressions
 5. Now passed. http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/levon-helm-drummer-and-singer-of-the-band-dies-at-71-20120419 Sad times, what a legend. RIP Levon
 6. As far as I know he played all the instruments on his last few albums. Saw him live in a park in France at the Cognac Blues festival last year - he played guitar for most of that gig, he was pretty good at that too, great gig!
 7. Oh man, I wish you'd offered me this as a trade for my Sandberg, instead of your jazz.....would have bitten your hand off!!! Too late now though :-(
 8. Just traded my Sandberg for a P bass from Russ. All went smoothly with no hassle. Wouldn't hesitate to reccommend.
 9.
Strange that this bass is still around at this tempting price..the "damage" wouldn't bother me at all since it's located rather out of sight. These are killer basses... I've owned more than a hundred basses but this particular model beats a lot of more expensive basses imo. I've been using my Sandberg for quite a while now and I've sold Fender and Wal basses because of it...
Thanks for the comments :-) Bump!
 10. Doesn't get much simpler or easy to recognise that "Another One Bites The Dust". Drove my parents mad with that one when I was starting off!!
 11.
51 P bass?

Fender Japan 95 jazz, well road worn with history.. Plays great?
Could be interested, more details please :-)
 12.
Here's the neck dimensions; Nut to heel = 21.25" Nut to bridge = 30" Nut to Tailpiece = 32.5" Width at nut = 40mm Width at heel = 48mm Hope this helps? Rick
Thanks for the info, have been looking for a shortscale. Will give it some thought.
 13.
interested in a trade for a warwick fortress one??
Thanks for the offer but Warwicks really aren't my thing.
 14. Price dropped from £600, patience isn't my strong suit :-)
 15.
Would you be interested at all in an old mid 90's warwick corvette, passive with jazz bass pickups. Got the nice slim jazz style neck not the newer baseball bat necks. Sounds very much like a jazz bass but with a little more woody growl. Absolutely beautiful bass, should be worth about the same as your asking price as it's one of the older german ones. I can get you pictures and sound clips if you want.
Thanks for the offer but not looking for a Warwick, not my cup of tea I'm afraid.
 16. Have seen something I fancy that's a bit cheaper than this so feel free to make me an offer, might be willing to take a hit on the price.
 17.
PM'd
Replied *and edited trade options
 18.
I have a Jazz I interested? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/166857-fsft-usa-fender-jazz-v-price-drop-l750/page__pid__1534771#entry1534771
Having slept on it, I've decided to stick with four strings for now. Thanks for the offer though!
