Bought a gig bag from Brian. Sweet easy deal as always with him. Thanks.
3. Bought a pedal from Bobe01. Sent from his native Croatia, no problems at all. Arrived within 5 days. Well packed and in great condition. Highly recommended.
4.
A tad harsh Wish I wasn't selling it really, I bought it to replace my V4B rig which is tonally perfect but a little too big for my purposes. Luckily I never got around to selling that so at least I'll retain some Ampeg tubes around the place
I'm only jealous
5. Yeah me too.....A great bit of kit, and this guy, Beedster, has some many other things for sale I also want. Think I may even hate him a little
6. Thanks for this comparison test.

8. Yes they're lovely cabs, but 'er indoors has drawn the line at five cabs. So thinning the heard, a little.
9. The top three basses I'd have like a shot if I were not snowed under with basses. I may still bag that top Jazz though, she's a beauty...If I can convince the wife. Cracking job you've done on those builds. Big thumbs up.

MXR preamps

Thanks for that... After some searching the web I see the MXR M81 has a studio D.I. out too. Very interesting.

MXR preamps

Has anyone had a chance to compare the two MXR bass preamp pedals by any chance? The MXR M81 and the MXR M80. I've owned and used the MXR M80 and I know it has a D.I. output, but what are the other main differences between these two?
15.
That would be SF-2 ;-) You could get a used set of Alembic electronics and install them in a pedal, best to go to the Alembic club and ask the question there: http://alembic.com/c...club/discus.cgi Since Alembic is a custom shop, they might be able to build you one. (but it will have a hefty price tag)
Thanks for that, and yeah SF-2 is the rack unit I was thinking of. Must be something out there I can try in pedal format first though, if anyone know of something? I'll also take a look over at the Alembic forums to see what they say Maybe a John East filter or an ACG filter in a Boss size pedal would give me what I'm looking for? UPDATE: Just found this:-
16. A bit of a long shot, but does anyone know of a pedal that would give me the filters and 'Q' similar to the Alembic on board filters? I'm aware of the Alembic FZ-1 19" rack unit, but is there a pedal? Or does anyone know if the filters on the Stanley Clarke wah pedal would provide something similar? Any help that would narrow down my search would be very much appreciated.
17. Many thanks for those clips jazyvee
