1. Plenty of food for thought here guys. Many thanks for the comments
2. Very interesting Si, thanks
3. Thanks I'll checkout some reviews and sound demos
4. Guy is there such a pedal that has switchable up and down octaves? i.e. two foot switches to control whether I use the up octave or the down or combine them. So maybe three foot switches Looked at the POG but only one foot switch, on or off. It does what I want, but I'd need two of them.
5. Pete called over and bought an amp from me. Nice pleasant chap, and pleasure meeting a fellow BassChatter to discuss all things bass. Deal with confidence. No problem recommending him to deal with.

7. I bought these for use with my S5 and they do not work with it. I believe they are for the Galaxy note or tab a little unsure. If you can use them, PM me your address and they're yours.

Si I'd love one of those but having to use a walwart really puts me off. I think it's the only downfall of the 3leaf Enabler.

14.
Had my Kickback 14 years now, use it for smaller gigs and as jam night backline, and a reliable workhorse it certainly is.
Love it for same reasons as you, but it's just too heavy for me at the moment.
15. No, I use Genz Benz for the gigs.
