1. I'm almost slightly scared to listen just in case I don't like it and that means the rest of the stuff I do like isn't real music
2. I'm buying a Sandberg Cali JM5 which is coming with a Gator hardcase. I'd much rather have a gig bag, so if anyone has anything which is half decent, not too flimsy (a Sandberg one I'd even chuck a lil cash in for) and fancies taking the Gator, give me a shout. Ta.

Active Cabs

Thanks Alex, do you have any recommendations? This is one area I'm not particularly clued up on!
4. Does anyone know what active cabs are available at the cheaper end of the scale?? I want one for home use so I can take my preamp home from practice to have a sweet home use rig! I've already got an ISP bass vector pro but transporting it is a bit of an issue for me and it would be too pricey to get another for home!
5. Bump for this! Good value to be had here and also dealing with a top dude!
6. I'm selling this rig as our idiot guitarist says it's not practical for me to have to take my bass cab to every gig. Apparently bassists should only ever have to take a bass head, or I need to buy my own car. Solution? I'm selling my gear and I'm off to the rehearsal room to crack said guitarist right in his spoilt, fat little face. I'll get some pics up soon, but this is simply the best rig I have ever played through in my entire life by a long long way. It's VERY loud and has an unbelieveable tone. It's a very clean, hi-fi sounding amp, but the tone shaping options are great. Not to mention it has a top notch built in compressor and the reknowned "Decimator" circuit. The active cab has 1 x 15" speaker and 2 x 8" speakers and kicks out 600w alone. You can add another passive cab to get 1000w out of it. Can't imagine needing it though! Links here Preamp - http://www.isptechnologies.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=49&Itemid=60 Cab - http://www.isptechnologies.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=42&Itemid=78 This is a serious rig at a steal of a price. Anyone who wants to try it is welcome to, they will not be disappointed. There are no issues with it, I've gigged it maybe half a dozen times and it's blown me away every time. But alas, those who have bigger wallets call the shots apparently. £650 no negotiating, pickup from Ancoats, Manchester.
7. Ohhhhhhh someone buy this bass! I swear there is literally nothing prettier than a Teal ray!
8. Always loved that particular colour combination, they got it spot on for the 30th Bump for a sexy bass!
9. I had a DTR 1000 which was pretty sweet. Also had a DT10 which I sold, but was good enough for me to buy another one

Sold.

Kinda tempted by the Ampeg to give me something different to put through my ISP Bass Vector............
11. That's beyond sexy!
12. Up
13. I'll get some sorted, but in terms of condition, there's not a thing wrong with it
14. Is 40 quid too much to ask for this?
15. http://www.laney.co.uk/manuals/HCM30-60-12...20Issue%201.pdf Above link has a manual for the amp and attached is a pic of the amp (not my picture, but the same amp)
16. 40 quid anyone?
17. This is a quick post as I'm on the move, but I have this amp taking up valuable space. It works absolutely fine, no issues at all, kicks out decent volume and sounds fine. If you want the full spec, you could probably find it fairly easy. All I want is £60 + postage! If you're taking it quickly, email to [email protected] so I can pick it up on my Whackberry.
18. Beautiful bass! Absolutely love the finish
19. Me wonders how this would sound with my ISP cab.............
20. Well the idea behind using programmed drums is a cost thing as much as anything else. We could pay to go and record the drums live, but there isn't a whole lot to be gained from it for the sake of bashing out an EP, when we've done the rest of the CD ourselves at minimal expense anyway As for the music being typical, I'd disagree, but then I would, wouldn't I? I'd say we've definitely got more of our own sound. Whether people like it or not is a totally different thing, but I'm not expecting we'll be to everyones taste!
21. So I took a bit of a hiatus from playing bass. The singer from my previous band, Veils, used to be in a band called Last Chance To Dance. He decided to put it back together with the previous lineup which didn't include me. One of the guitarists moved away, so my best mate was drafted in on guitar which got my attention. They then played a battle of the bands competition and won through to the final which was a week later, at which point I recieved a call from the guys telling me that their current bassist couldn't do it because he was on holiday, so they wanted me to learn their set in a week having not played for 9 months...........I managed to do it and ended up joining full time! If you aren't into metal, you won't like this. It's dischordant, angry and certainly not easy listening.......
22. Massive PSI fan here! Great find
23. Up! I've got cash to chuck in for the right trade people!
