1. Hi-Beams are lowish tension and great for slap can get them in 40-120 gauge too
2.
I swear you are selling everything I want! You're dangerous for my wallet and local! Good luck bro
Have I told you about my new loyalty card?

I bought the bass from Ikay recently and am selling as I already have two five string basses and have decided to stick with my fives. Condition is excellent with just a few scratches on the rear and a couple of minor marks on the headstock. I'm asking £525 which is what I paid I'm based in Harrow, Middx Link to Ikay's ad and lots of photo's here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=89626&hl=moon
5. Just got in from this gig, had a really good night. Needless to say she played a lot form the current album - Devils Halo, which I'm not as keen on as her earlier funk, however, in a small intimate venue, where you're are just yards from the stage, it worked really well. She has a bass player in the band and they shared bass playing duties, Me'shell playing a well worn Fender jazz. Sometimes they both played together. Anyone going on Monday or Tuesday, I think you'll enjoy the show P
6. Reminds me about once looking at a Lakland Bob Glaub bass in the Bass Centre in London. I commented to the sales guy that it was unusual for a sig model not to have a signature on it. He looked at the headstock closely and said (and he was being serious) 'Oh, that the signature there' pointing to the Chicago skyline symbol that they have on all Lakland Skyline basses.
7. To be fair to the seller, he has 100% positive feedback. OK, its 100% of one and it was left today at 15:27
8. Welcome Carlos, there's a number of Portuguese bassists on here, you'll find
9. The Bob Glaub knobs are not push fit and as mentioned a bit further up, require an allen key - can't tell you what size it is though
10. Something that just crossed my mind, though may have been addressed further back in this thread - what is the position re power supply in the hall? Will it support many rigs being connected?
11. Mark at BassDirect has all the details up: Bergantino AE212 - £829 Based on the hugely successful AE112 this vertically oriented cabinet is designed as a one cab solution for those looking for a big sound with low weight. With sparkling high end details, plenty of mid-range energy and deep low end the AE212 will deliver a huge sound in a relatively compact and easy to move cabinet. Utilising Bergantino own custom Neodymium drivers you can expect to achieve effortless and controlled sound at any volume. We suggest using a minimum of a 500w at 4ohm amp but this cab will thrive on amps of up to 1000w. Stack a second cab on top for a really massive sound where appropriate. New for 2010! Model AE212 specifications: •2 x 12" Custom Neodymium drivers with 7 oz magnets •high intelligibility 1" tweeter •custom phase - coherent crossover with tweeter level control •power handling - 600 watts rms •frequency response: 40hz - 18khz •sensitivity: tbc db @ 1 Watt/1 meter •2 x 1/4" and 2 x neutrik connectors •impedance: 4ohms •dimensions: 31"H x 18-1/2"W x 15"D •78cm x 47cm x 38cm •weight: 55lbs/25 Kgs •This cab works well with high power amplifiers from 500 - 1000w at 4Ω
12. Just lifted this photo off TalkBass - seems there will be a Berg AE212 4 ohm, cab out soon ..

22.
I agree on the Bongo 6, they are effortlessly easy to play, light weight and a powerhouse of sound to boot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lS0mQDmQzAs
Agreed, played a Bongo 6at the London Guitar show a while back and was very impressed. Someone on here had one for sale a a few weeks back, for a very good price, then withdrew it - could be worth hitting them up, if intrested in a Bongo 6...
