  1. I picked this up not too long ago as thought I was going to need to do some recording on location but that project has died so I no longer need this. Great little thing, use it as a digital recorder, 4 stereo or 8 mono tracks, has some built in effects for guitar and even a drum machine, you can load up your own WAV files. Works as an audio interface for recording to a computer. Says 'sampler' but I'm not sure how that works. When I got it one of the plastic fader knobs was damaged and loose so I replaced the two on the right with grey ones, I assign stereo drums to those tracks so it kinda made sense to have them both the same colour, they are a little bigger than the black original ones but work fine. Plenty of demo's and info on YouTube. I only really used it to test it out so I'm not up to speed on using it but will try and answer any questions you have ๐Ÿ˜Š It's in good nick and comes with the power supply and I'll also include the SD card I bought for it. ยฃ120.00 delivered to the mainland UK via Yodel or come and collect it for a bit of a saving. R.

  3. I'm not surprised, I have an old Boss CS-1 somewhere that I seem to remember the sound being very squashed on.
  4. Rare as a very rare thing but Fender Japan made a Short scale Jazz Bass the JB62SS.
  5. @pierreganseman thank you for contributing, I had no idea you were here on BC ๐Ÿ˜Š I need to liquidate some assets but I'm keen to get my hands on a Dingwall in the not too disant future and I'll get in touch if i can't find a used one. Cheers
  6. Yes me, I no longer play in a band and only do recording at home these days and hanker after a brighter 'modern' tone.
  7. Thank you for replying that's good to hear, not sure about the Ferret though ๐Ÿ˜‚
  8. I've been using passive medium scale basses for years, one with flats on but I have a major itch for an active Dingwall, so I don't think it's an age thing, I think ones taste changes from time to time.
  9. Thanks, reasonable priced excluding import costs, I'm wondering if it's worth a trip over on the Eurostar.

  11. Just wondering if anyone has been to his shop and/or bought from him?
  12. I plug directly into the interface's instrument input, I think most of them have this option, I'm not sure a DI into a mic input would make any difference, unless you bought an expensive DI box I guess.
  13. Someone sell me their 5 string NG or Combustion and buy this loveliness beast, win win. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  14. Wow,that's a lot of strings and a mega amount of knobs ๐Ÿ™‚
  15. Alway regretted selling my Fretless Shergold and recently I've missed my Roscoe Century which I'd love to get back but can't find out who's got it!
  16. Oops ๐Ÿ˜Š that's a weird one as well though. Try this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185248761986?hash=item2b21afc882:g:yNoAAOSwBz1h2uWJ
  17. I know nothing about Rickenbackers apart from you can't sell them on BC but nearly ยฃ22k for a 1991 CS model seems an insane price. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164548021929?hash=item264fd38ea9:g:jAkAAOSw21pfw~v-
  18. John made me a loom for my bitsa Strat with 2 humbuckers, quality work and excellent service as always.
