4.
Oh!! Good to know A couple of years ago in NYC I visited Roger's workshop in Brooklyn and asked Kevin Drexler (Roger's aide) about tighter spacing for a 4 (I used to have a NYC 4 from the '90s with the old Schaller bridge, where you could choose your preferred spacing). He told me that was not a possibility (I suppose because of contractual obligations with the current bridges supplier....) Nice one anyway mate
Sadowsky have a replacement bridge for their 4 strings which gives the option of 19mm string spacing as opposed to the standard 20mm. Not sure about options for the 5 string

 11.
Bought this on here a couple of months ago and I have barely even looked at it, so maybe another BCer will put it to better use. Tascam MP-BT1 Bass Trainer boxed. A tiny crack on the body apparently, (but I've never noticed it), in full working order. I bought a mini USB cable to connect it to my computer, which didn't come with it, and I'll include this in the sale. Selling for the £60 I paid for it, including UK recorded delivery. I'll post to EU at extra cost of recorded & insured delivery. Payment by bank transfer, cash, cleared cheque or paypal if the buyer will pay the fees. Thanks for looking.
Hi cost of shipping to Galway in the republic of ireland regards leroy

 13.
Basically,by resting your forearm on the bass you are constricting the blood flow to your hand.I'm also guessing that you have a relatively sharp wrist angle. It's possible to eventually develop CTS by doing both of these. Try to raise your arm a little so that you are not resting it on the bass and try to keep your wrists pretty straight. Everyone does these things at times, but if you can get out of the habit,it's worth it in the long run.
Thanks for the feedback. I will work on adjusting my right hand position. It will be achalllenge as that hand has been resting on the body of a bass guitar for over 30 years!
 14.
Do you rest your forearm on the bass? That could be causing a problem.Without seeing you play it's hard to say. There's no reason to be reluctant to use a pick, especially if it helps to relieve some of the strain on your fingers.
yes i do rest my forearm on the bass. What is your opinion on this. thanks for your reply
 15. hi folks recently I have developed significant pain in the the index and middle fingers of my plucking hand. i have been playing bass for many years and guess this may be a case of wear and tear. Any sugestions regarding treatment? I am a semi pro, so taking a break from playing is not a real option right now and I would be reluctant to switch to a pick. Anyy suggestioins would be welcome,
I've literally just bought a near identical bass (amazing to see two trans white Sadowsky J's come up for sale in the same week!) and can confirm that they really are very nice indeed
Can you say how the older Sadowsky compares with the more recent ones?

 22.
I used to own a Sadowsky very similar to this accept it had a flame maple finish on top. To be honest the older Sadowskys are the ones to have because they have slilmmer necks than the new ones, they dont have that any tapering at the heel (new ones do), they have better bridges and they are light due to the choice of hand picked body woood and not due to the chambered bodys of the new ones. Id still love a new one though! Good luck with the sale.
Spot on regarding the newer necks not beeing slim. I purchased a new sadowsky and had to return the neck for a reshape. I would recomend that when ordering a new sadowsky the purchaser should discuss neck proifile issues prior to the instrument beeing shipped. The neck can be shaped pretty much to the same spec as the older Sadowskys. I am now a very happy sadowsky player!!
