Not sure about options for the 5 string

    I stronglly recomend earplugs. i have tinnitus and hearing loss and am sorry now that i didnt start wearing plugs years ago. i use ACS plugs, expensive but worth every penny.

It will be achalllenge as that hand has been resting on the body of a bass guitar for over 30 years!

    hi folks recently I have developed significant pain in the the index and middle fingers of my plucking hand. i have been playing bass for many years and guess this may be a case of wear and tear. Any sugestions regarding treatment? I am a semi pro, so taking a break from playing is not a real option right now and I would be reluctant to switch to a pick. Anyy suggestioins would be welcome,

Id still love a new one though! Good luck with the sale.[/quote] Spot on regarding the newer necks not beeing slim. I purchased a new sadowsky and had to return the neck for a reshape. I would recomend that when ordering a new sadowsky the purchaser should discuss neck proifile issues prior to the instrument beeing shipped. The neck can be shaped pretty much to the same spec as the older Sadowskys. I am now a very happy sadowsky player!!
