1.
Just out of interest, why do you want to replace the bridge?
in the past ive banged on that high mass bridges dont make that much difference, or was it string through, i cant remember? but i played a jazz the other week with a BA on it, and across the neck the tone was more consistent..
 2. I would like to change the bridge on my 75 RI jazz... ive never done this before... BUT... i dont really want to drill more holes... the bass has the usual Fender bent piece metal on it.... can you recommend a bridge that will use the existing holes..? Just spotted these.. im getting GAS for a bridge...
 3. If ive ever had problems with a floppy B string ive used Hex Core strings...DR Low Riders are excellent... i tend to buy just the B string Low Rider, then buy a four string set of similar tonal qualities, that are round core.. Low riders do tend to be very stiff, not something im keen on from E to G... but there killer on a B string DR Low Rider's also have a fantastic tone, lots of definition..
 4. Whats also good, is the basses that are for sale are from people who know about basses and are usually set up well... oh and they dont have to pay staff...
 5. This is a great price for such a bass!!!
 6. just for those who may not have heard it.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WEazpFaAOY

 15.
On the basis that Fodera, like any custom shop can source any old Fender part from old instruments/ebay, I'd get Fodera to build me a custom bass, with the nicest bits off the nicest Fenders (and other brands) I could find. I reckon Fodera could build a Fender better than Fender ever could anyway, unless you think certain build imperfections are part of the 'charm,' in which case you could just get Fodera to build those in deliberately through master craftsmanship, rather than get Fender to build it accidentally through incompetence.
yep your right.. Fodera... doing the master builder thing on a fender 75 jazz bass.. now were talking.. that would be serious jazz bass
 16. i love this track from there best album imo... just adore this track... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cYnJX7VO4w&ob=av2e
 17.
A preview of some material from D'Angelo's upcoming album - James Rivers... 12 years in the making and sounds worth the wait. Pino on top form as expected
its been a looong time.. good call Skej... Pino is a master at this groove....

 20.
And noone's mentioned Abba yet...?
theres a reason for that.. im only kidding... correct me if im being unfair, great music, but i never really heard an Abba track that really grooves. of course what i say means nothing as groove is subjective
 21. im sure it is not a serious problem at all, but there is no doubt in my mind that the best person to answer what is going on with your arm is your GP...
 22.
Had it been done transparently with clear and concise communication I'd agree with the 'not venting frustration' thing. But as a moderator myself I think people are well within their rights to publically rant when a disproportionately heavy-handed decision is made with no explanation given.
but given that there is no explanation given by the OP, its difficult to condone his post.. no idea what link you just gave us?

 25.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Fender? Or Fedora? Tough call.
