4.
Peter Muller - Dracula
great playing, awful cheesy horror sound affect at the start. a bit of a Marcus clone type thing going on, and not just the bass playing. there was MM's Frankenstein, now there is Peter's Dracula. erm, no ta.
5.
I am a huuuuuuge Juan Nelson fan. I have ripped off so many of his chops over the past several years! I was at this gig at Earls Court when this performance was recorded. Awesome evening.
excellent.! love that octave sound he's got going on.
6.
@bubinga5: this is the original song. From the album Sunbear (1977)
that is awesome.! made my day.. thanks dude.
7. i think these are great basses, and for that price they are really great. i always remember this vid. good luck with the sale Pete.
8. one of my favourite bassists is Juan Nelson. most well known for playing on Ben Harper's music. this is a cracker. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3ZM3IaY_84
9. who put the allen key fixing on the back of the headstock.?
10. great studio vid from Jazzanova with Paul Randolph. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2AeFOOdML0
11.
Michael "Sugar Bear" Foreman
thanks Roland
12. Only Warwick trades. no 75 RI Jazz basses + cash.?
13. I'm with HandWired, although the guys on here are very experienced with bass playing and I'm sure some might have experienced your type of symptoms, they/we are not doctors. if your worried about it, your doctor is the person you should be talking to. no doubt.! soreness can be part of playing for long periods. like having sore fingers after playing. pain imo, isn't good, its your body's way of telling you what your doing is too much. better to seek professional medical advise in my opinion. I'm pretty sure everyone else will say the same.
14. great Jackson 5 record. any ideas who played bass on it.?
15. its different, i will give you that, but you did ask.
16. live at.?? with Mr Crampton http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OywB38qDm0A
17. Fantastic pianist from the UK. really love this music. some great bass playing from Julian Crampton
18. How cool is THAT.!!!! you don't see many of these older Sadowsky's around.
19. the trouble with a very low action is, it doesn't give you much scope for different dynamics in your playing. starts to choke the notes when played hard.
20. i might have posted this before, but for those who may not have heard this music. Angela J, with the amazing keys/vocals of Frank Mcombe. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbMPklMGHjo
21. this is a bit 'out there' but i think you can link a lot of the physical feel of the dancers, to the way you play the bass. yep i really think so. no i don't smoke weed. I'm possibly indoctrinated.
22. My sister sent me this link. i really dig this vid and there are so many like this. i dig the music, but what i really dig are the different styles of dancers. absolutely think it was of the times when everyone had there style and were really enjoying themselves dancing.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFODu0AG194
23. i really don't see the point in getting a vintage Fender J bass when there are Fenders like this around. ok its at the top of your price range, but i reckon you may take less of a gamble quality and weight wise. if not this. a Sadowsky UV4 is a tp draw choice
24.
Good call! It's a pity it didn't work out with Nicole Russo on vocals though.
i dug her but its always been Ndea for me.
25. really can't see who this sort of instrument is aimed at.? £12000.00 for a very uniquely designed bass, that was inspired by a very uniquely flamboyant bassist. the only people i can see who would buy it, are collectors. maybe I'm wrong. I can get why Warwick price there stuff so high though. If Fodera can get away with it. i gotta say though the custom shop stuff Warwick are coming out with, are frickin amazing. very clever creative stuff. some of the Streamers are just incredibly cool. http://www.warwick.de/en/Warwick---Custom-Shop--Gallery.html
