  1. Dam I didn’t realise mononeon was in the uk. I’m a big fan of him. weirdly I think his a insane bass player. Incredibly creative. I don’t clock with his own music though. when is he at ronnies?
  2. Bought some strings from @MungoBass last week. Great communication and transparency. Transaction was smooth. Would highly recommend him.
  3. It’s an amazing groove. it’s weird how im finding all these tracks when I was surround by music. Goes to show that just because you are in the industry doesn’t mean you are exposed to good music lol.
  4. Cheers I’ll be looking at this later today.
  5. I only asked as I saw one on sale which is extremely similar and it’s an alder body. I thought all maple necks in the late 70’s was ash body.
  6. Never really listened to grace Jones as it wasn’t in my era growing up. This bass groove was a very very nice. ill be learning this.
  7. Oh hello!!🤩 the jazz cafe is such a intimate venue. I’ve seen some great shows at that venue. For me watch bilal at the jazz cafe stands out. For me an amazing artist.
  8. This is the bag I had. I was cycling somewhere with the bag on my back. I cycled through Greenwich tunnel and didn’t realise how low one part of the tunnel was. My headstock got caught and ripped the shoulder straps, causing the bass to fall on the floor. I was amazed my bass was not damaged in the slightest.
  9. I think I’ll be going for the TGI. Gak has the cheapest price atm. I noticed the two versions also. I presume the TGI with the two black straps in the front is the newest version.
  10. I randomly found him also. I really like his music. the keys are solid tbf. I am someone who has something on repeats for days lol.
  11. This bass line has been in my head all evening.
  12. cheers for the advice. I’ll have a look at thomann and see what else the have. TGI looks solid also.
  13. oh I totally forgot about them. Thanks a lot for the heads up.
  14. Hi guys. I'm looking for a gig bag for a 34” bass that doesn’t cost silly money. I'm based in London and PMT and GUITAR GUITAR have such a limited range to go and physically look. Price range is about £60. Saw some high rated ones on Amazon for under 60 but I have no reference. Help would be appreciated
  15. Purchased a Yamaha pulser 400 bass from Bassbros this week. The service was amazing. Communication has been second to none and even after I received the bass he contacted me to see how things are. This is the first time I have ever bought a bass online without trying it. Will at Bassbros will most definitely have another customer. Highly recommend the company.
  16. I litterally bought a cable from designacable and came yesterday. I couldn’t agree more with what you said. I’m very very happy
  17. Cheers for info. You know more than me. Lol
  18. Cheers for the response. Oh so cap rating used now are different. while we are here what about the 57 (when they changed the design) then also 62 up until it was sold to cbs. This is very interesting. Learning a lot here.
  19. Hey everyone. I wondered what pits and capacitors did fender use in the mid to late 70’s p basses. Mainly the ash body maple neck combos. Would my guess if 250k pots and 0.47 capacitors be correct?
  20. Cheers. I’ll check it out once I get in. hole everyone is enjoying the last few moments of summer here. Knowing the uk it could snow Tomorrow lol
  21. This song puts me in such a beautiful place. Paul Jackson and wah wah Watson playing is amazing in this to me.
