  1. For me the elephant in the room is.. who is this person and what’s his site so people don’t fall into this trap.
  2. Camden branch is cool also. Great selection. I will prob head over tomorrow as I need a new wire lol
  3. Good luck on the sale. Beautiful FSR bass! Wish they reissued it.
  4. Jeez. Recently all the items I’m looking for always have a slightly differences to what I want. I'm interested in the standard wound 😞. great pickups. Good luck on the sale.
  5. I’ve never tried that camera. I mostly shoot my mamiya RZ67 proII. Have a Nikon F Apollo 35mm that I don’t shoot that often.
  6. Oh nice to see a photography shooter. I shoot film myself
  7. Oh that 1975 pbass 😍. love the colour combo. Interestingly he changed the pickups to lollar standard wound. He then changed the casing. Many people thought it was dimarzio P pickups. Yes I really like how he sits in the groove.
  8. Shame I forgot him. I follow him also. his cool. I love his 78 pbass tone.

  10. Great example. Would have taken off your hands if it was a maple fretboard. Sent a PM
  11. The Matt freeman signature bass? if so. It’s crazy what you get for the money. I just learnt that it’s modelled off his 77 p bass.
  12. Most definitely. Fender japan have released a 70’s p bass. I tried it. Neck is nice but body is basswood. It’s going for 1400. Don’t this it’s worth that tbh. The squier signature Matt freeman p bass is basically the exact same but for 500 🤷🏾‍♂️
  13. May I ask what precision you got?
  14. I’m actually thinking of get my niece who is 7 a bass. I’ll prob take here down to a music store to she if she likes any
  15. I’ve found many things of yesteryear are built to a higher standard maybe as they was over engineered (japan and Germany to be more specific) I was surprised that my app didn’t show me the actual price it went for. I wasn’t surprised of the final price tbh. Gutted I missed it. You are lucky to have a 84. I would love a MIJ 84 as it’s my birth year.
  16. Yep true. Let’s keep it that way so the price doesn’t go up even more. I resent when a Leica m3 film camera was cheaper than a m2 even though it’s was a much better camera. Then all of a sudden people clocked and the m3 became more expensive.
  17. It’s gone already? I went yesterday to play it. Wow. I’ll message you directly when I see some so you are aware. I am always looking for pb70’s.
  18. These are of the same materials and specs of the top end American models of that time. They was the very first Japanese fenders. It’s one of those where you will have to see and play one to understand.
  19. I saw this on eBay this morning. I’ve never played one so headed to the bass gallery in Camden to try one. Does this have a rosewood or ebony fretboard? I only ask as when I did some research I only saw ebony. This looks like rosewood. I could be wrong. bloody lovely bass. The v/v/t/t is GOLD!
  20. Oh yes I totally forgot about that bass. Yes it’s an ash body with a rosewood neck. The neck is a proper 70’s profile. You can find it in MIJ and also MIM. Great reminder actually. They have Duncan pickups in if I remember correctly
  21. Oh man you had the pb70 I want. Both the pb70 ash body maple neck and mim fsr are so rare to come by
  22. I’m not surprised tbh. My experience with him via what’s app of phone has been top. Comes across as a honest person.
  23. it was not heavy at all. Had flats on. Wish they had rounds but that’s fine. I have noticed that 70’s shape necks can vary drastically. I played a 70’s jazz today and which was thicker than the 78 p bass they have. I favour thicker necks as I shattered my wrist when I was younger. Still it’s weird the inconsistency. hopefully the original poster gets to go try it out. I’m sure he will buy it straight away.
  24. I just came from the bass gallery. The pb70 they have is really good. The neck feels just perfect. I will say its depth is between an actual 70’s p and a modern p. The Japanese real get it right with the necks. Anyone who wants a alder body rosewood neck will be in for a treat.
  25. The bass gallery in Camden have a pb70 from the 90’s. Adler body rosewood neck. https://thebassgallery.com/collections/bass/products/untitled-aug17_13-03 if you can go and try it out.
