This is interesting. Never knew this was a factory option. Beautiful colour https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/315217445474?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=elhse3o4su6&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=Rn8UiLvPR9K&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Will is great. I bought my Yamaha pulser 400 which it’s a lawsuit late 70’s pbass. I was going to swap it for a 600 (the higher model) but will wasn’t happy with how the neck settled. This showed me a lot of honesty as he could have sold me the bass and be done with it. I’ll buy more from him for sure.

fair. I broke my wrist at 16 and the only necks which are the most comfortable are the late 70’s fender profiles. I think they are B. Lawsuit Japanese p basses are ok also.

what! what store? I have a folder bookmarked with sites but it’s always Bassbros with the lowest price. the fender pb-70 mij in 90’s goes for around that price. Even these are so hard to find.

Cheers it’s a great deal. Sadly it’s the other side of England for me. I’m London based. I actually just lost a bid by £1 on a Ashdown mag200 combo located close to me. Went for £21!!!! Didn’t think anyone was going to bid so walked away from phone as I was the highest bidder! Noob move

hey. Cheers for the response. Ive the 8cbp on its way to me. A friend offered them to me so I’ll try them and see how I get on. I can always go try the 8s after as they are in stock where the 8cbp isn’t. Just injured my knee so everything is on hold.

True. I’ll drop him a message. I’ll be interested to see the health of those frets.

I’ve heard about the tuners. ok cheers for the that. Basic normal things then. not going to lie I love the look of it and they sound dope for finger style funk. 🤔

it’s very close to you. Me on the other hand….

I couple weeks ago I saw one on the eBay (collection only) for around the same price. Location was Scunthorpe. Both are very low in price. I wonder what are the things to look out for to check if it’s a red flag or not. I’m more familiar with MIJ fenders as that was my original bass I wanted.

Such a timeless picture. I relate to what you say about it being to valuable to take out. I have a good amount of an analog film cameras which are rather valuable. Even though it’s just a tool to create, I have this unconscious mothering protection vibe. You have had that beauty as long as I have existed.

Seems like someone snapped up the fretless 1200. Anyone from here?
-
oh so it’s a tad smaller to the difference between the bb1200 and bb1000. I’ll have to do some research on them then. Are the Japanese made? Is the tone similar to the bb3000?
-
what difference is this bass to the bb3000? They look the same.

https://bassbros.co.uk/product/1981-yamaha-broad-bass-bb1200-fretless/ fretless bb1200. I spoke to will on the weekend a he spoke about having this bass. I was gutted when the words “fretless” came out of his mouth as I’m not a fretless person.

I totally forgot about Anderson’s. That would make all the sense. Thanks for this.

Shame i didn't say. I like to play funk, soul, a little jazz and Motown. Not really a rock kind of guy. Guitarguitar have the ampeg and fender rumble in store. Heard good things about the laney digbeth, gk, mark bass.... some many dam options i cant try lmao another question is how does monitoring speaking hooked up to computer and using software like logic etc compare.? You can tell i have not experience lol

Hey peeps. I started bass with a small stagg combo amp then decided to pickup a Melvin Lee Davis peas Al so I can carry long with me and practice at home and away. I’ve found I just don’t get on with headphones compared to actual real speakers. The MLD pedal has IR’s which are great but I always go back to a physical speaker. Im based in central London and now PMT near old street is gone I have very few places (guitar guitar and Yamaha ) to try amps/combos. I doubt the amp will leave the house. what advise could you give on getting a physical amp/combo? most of the low priced combos have 8” speakers. I don’t want Meh sound. Price limit is around 400. I’m happy to go used or new. Any ideas or help? I have little experience in this area. Coupled with limited places to try with my bass. cheers
