Got my P1 visa today.....the USA granted me the status of 'Internationally Recognized Alien' - I am free to go to the USA and get paid for having fun! Wooo Hoo!

I'd like to get into this pedal building malarkey...the only pedal i want at the moment is a more flexible compressor...with adjustable ratio, threshold, attack, release, input level and make up gain....so that's six knobs!!! is there a DIY project about on the web that's voiced for bass that covers this?

A new toy arrived from a certain Mr Dave Hall yesterday and got added to my nano+ [attachment=212550:nanoplus.jpg] It now sits on taller feet to accomodate my Trex Chameleon. To be safe the DHA uses 2 outlets at 12VDC with a current doubler cable (green). [attachment=212551:nanoplusfeet.jpg]

I've got a Puma 900...no problems at all and it fits in my hand luggage so I can take it on the fly aways....one less thing to worry about on the tech rider!

I have a couple of Warmoth necks on basses I put together myself....they remain without decals. I have a little problem insofar that if I was to use my own name as a 'brand', it would have to say 'Gibson'....DOH!

Join a band if you're not in one already. I've played in bands on and off for 35 odd years...I'm still not very good but being in a band makes it all so much more fun.
