Could be one of two things. 1) Your notifications are being re-routed to your junk mail folder. Have a look in there. 2) A problem with some accounts was spotted recently where the notifications just aren't being generated. You might be one of these.

That has happened to a few musician friends of mine over the years. They just... walk away. And usually they come back months / years down the line. Who knows - maybe I'll just wake up one morning and think... 'bugger it'. But as it stands I literally can't comprehend it. It's such an alien concept.

I think the angle of my question is relevant given the context of this thread. I also think that Fender users are generally just happy where they are, and don't feel compelled to look down their noses at boutique fans (for example). Most of the comments seem to come the other way, this thread being a good example. Or am I wrong..? As for tone, it's subjective. No-one's ever going to win that one.
