1. Hey Guys, I'm open to sensible offers if anyone is interested?!! I'm in London so come and check out the bass if you are nearby. Simon
2. covers are original but the case isn't unfortunately! Cheers.
3. For sale is my 1972 Jazz. All original, in good condition though has a few dings on the neck and the usual belt buckle wear on the body. Comes with the pick up and bridge covers and a hard case. Plays and sounds as you would expect, awesome! £2,250 Thanks for the replies guys and thanks all for looking! As avised I've uploaded some more pics so you can see the detail of the bass better. The marks on the neck are from when the oringal owner (I'm the second owner) was electricuited from a live mic and thrown across a drum kit where the neck met the cymbals!! True story! The last photo reads FEB 1972 on the end of the neck. 4. NOW SOLD. thanks Hey Guys, I'm selling my all original MUTRON octave divider from the 1970s. A great sounding pedal with the added bonus of 'RINGER' switch (like a ring modulator, distortion). £280
5. NOW SOLD. Thanks Hey Guys, Up for sale is my ThunderFunk 550 amp. It was the last 550 ever made by Dave Funk himself. It's in excellent condition, has been gigged though has been kept in a flight case. The flight case comes with it as well. A great sounding amp! £625
6. Hey Guys, I registered a few months ago but this is the first posting I've made to introduce myself and say HELLO! My name is Simon and I'm and Aussie bass player living and working in London, teaching, gigging and exploring lots of bass possibilities! The main reason for this post is to put some pictures up and review my new Thunderfunk/Dr Bass Rig! smile.gif Thunderfunk 550 (last one built!) Dr Bass 115 and Dr Bass 1260 cabs (neo) + 72 Jazz Bass and 75 P- Bass Thunderfunk 550 close up There's not much to say expect that this rig is AMAZING!! After reading all the reviews and going to see Robbie at RIM Custom basses I took the plunge and haven't looked back since! In a nut shell - Power, headroom, my bass sounds like my bass! Rich, thick, even sound that cuts through in the high register, clarity, the list goes on! What I really love about this amp is the switch between tube and solid state and the 4 band parametric EQ which is great for sorting out bass nodes in some rooms or tweaking for double bass. The EQ is neutral sounding, just cuts/boosts the frequencies you want with no coloration. Don't get me wrong, this amp is not a neutral, sterile beast it warms up as the gig goes on!! The Dr Bass cabs are awesome as well, light, punchy with a ballsy no bullshit sound. I've used the 115 by itself and couldn't belief the dynamic range that came out of it! The 1260 is great for smaller gigs and Double Bass with the adjustable 6" dial proving to be very useful! I'd like to try the 2x10 cab (Robbie, you might have another order from me!) and possibly try the ceramic versions though I'm not sure if the difference would out way the weight! The best judge to test new gear is ask your band mates what they think as to them it's bass - good or bad. The response I got from the rest of the band with the new rig was 'Your bass seems so much more deeper and powerful'. That's all I needed to hear!!! Well I could sit here all day and tell you how good this rig is but if you're thinking about it just give Robbie a call at RIM Custom basses and go check em out! You won't be disappointed! I've tried all the gear on the market at the moment and to me this sounds the best to what I'm after - across between an Ampeg SVT rig and GK 800RB perhaps. Finally I've got me rig sorted......Time to go do some more playing!! Feel free to ask any questions re the above rig. Hope to see you on line soon, Simon (aka Dr Horn!)

8. Rich was the lucky man who won my Schroeder 21012 cab for a bargain! He organized everything regarding the courier and payment, very helpful and friendly with regular updates about the transaction. Very happy with the whole process only that I don't have a Schroeder cab anymore! Doc
9. For sale is my Schroeder 21012 speaker cabinet and speaker cover. The cab is one year old, has been gigged but is in excellent condition. The cabinet features 2x10 inch speakers and an angle 12 inch speaker resulting in a sound similar to a 1x15 and 2x10! The cab is in full working order, I'm selling it to get two small cabs to save my back! The cab is rated at 1200watts RMS @ 4ohms so has plenty of head room resulting in a great one cab solution for gigging. For more details and specs take a look at the schroeder site: http://www.schroedercabinets.com/21012.htm This cab is the regular series, not the neodymium and sounds great for all styles of music. The Price is £525 ono and the cab is in West London if you want to come and try it out. Feel free to ask any questions or request more photos.
