  14. No, these were white. The old VM were black.
  15. Here is my Squier Jazz bass bought a little while ago. I wanted to see if I could live with a jazz on a regular basis as this is very light. Sadly I don't like them so off it goes. It's in excellent condition and plays extremely well, I have stuck a chrome effect scratchplate on but will include the original black one. Looking for £180 delivered to the uk. The original strap pins will be refitted upon sale. 16. Hiya,I bought this a couple of months ago because I love the way they look. I upgraded the pickup to an SD SCPB2 and the sound is amazing, very powerful and clear. I also upgraded the loom with a Kiogon top level harness and this bass is as good as it gets imo. So why am I selling? Gas for something else on here that I can't live without. Truth is also that after I made this bass what it is now I put it in a case and haven't seen it since Don't know why at all. The original pickup will be included in the sale too. The bass is in immaculate unmarked condition, I paid £364 for it and with the pickup & loom it owes me about £430. I'm asking £280 with delivery to uk. The original strap pins will be refitted upon sale. I'll withdraw it if the one I want goes.
  17. Ok thanks for the input guys. Turns out that the tv has a USB port cunningly labelled 'wiselink'?? Why couldn't they just label it USB? So the sound problem seems to be ok now I use an Imac as my main PC but I have a newish Samsung windoze laptop that lives in the music room, it does have a HDMI out on it so will this just connect to the tv with a HDMI cable? This would be good because I have a program that can alter youtube songs to the key we will play them in.... My mind's buzzing with possibilities now.
  18. Must have done, the creative labs sound system is from 2001 and has a seperate amp and a big sub woofer. No usb's though.
  19. Mainly audio, the added sound system on our tv negates the need for hifi. We can play cd's now but it's a waff on making them and as our cars use usb sticks for music now we want to do that with the TV as it's much more convenient.
  20. Afternoon boys and girls, as I know you are all very intelligent I need some advice please. My 40" Samsung tv is about 7 years old and it cost a lot of money then and was feature packed but as we don't have or want a hifi in our lounge to play music I need a box or something with usb and mini jack to plug in and play music through the tv. I might add that the Creative labs 5.1 sound system on the tv is shatteringly loud and thumpy and is plenty adequate. So any suggestions please? Is there some sort of media player that might work in this way? Any suggestions much appreciated. Tom.
  21. Until I retired I was a Freshman dealer and while the expensive ones were quite good and well made, the cheaper end of the market were a bit 'hard' sounding. You have to work hardto get a good tone imo so choose with care and make sure you try first.
