SOLD Kanile'a Islander Pako Electro Acoustic Bass Ukulele £275

Selling this ukulele bass that I acquired approx. 6 weeks ago. It was purchased as something I could take on holiday with me to the Peak District (I did have a nice time, thanks for asking).

[font=arial, helvetica, sans-serif]The individual string pickups work well, evenly balanced across all the strings, and the active Belcat preamp works well to boost and cut frequencies. It has a preamp panel on the top bout, with the battery hatch for the flat lithium batteries that power the preamp, inbuilt tuner, and an endpin jack socket. The top, back and sides are laminate flamed maple, and the fretboard and bridge are rosewood. Lightweight high quality tuners in black ensure good steady tuning. This bass comes with Aquilla Thundergut strings that were factory fitted. I am also including a good quality padded gig bag,[/font]

I used it for about 30mins each day whilst on holiday and it has not been used since, the bass is like new. I am only selling because I just bought a Classic25 Violin bass and it suits my needs for a "small scale" practice electric bass, I wanted something more like an electric bass. This is a travel size double bass!!

I don't know, it's a cracking little bass, more DB like than the Kala's I have owned.
