1. I can only compare it to a precision and it holds up well to them. punchy and full. They do one with 2 pickups as well and it has the switch for £160 odd quid, bet it's awesome.
2. I love mine.
3. Just found this HB Musicman lookalike: This brilliant piece of awesomeness is a passive copy and wow I love it. There are 2 volumes and one tone and it's very controllable although to me, there isn't a lot of difference between the two sounds but then I'm a bit mutton. Plenty of power from the single MM style pickup and it weighs a reasonable 9 lbs. Fit and finish is as good as any other bass in the £500 - 600 range save for the fret edges which are not all perfect, that said, it took 10 minutes to sort. All in all superb value for £103 plus a tenner delivery... 4. Just met Chris tonight and sold him my Blue Precision. What a nice guy! Doesn't live far from me and we had a good chat about all things bass. A rerally good player too. Thanks Chris and I hope you enjoy the bass. tom.
5. Jon Shuker made it for me.
6. Mine's a bit rare now....
7. Oh my goodness, is it the same shape at the back too? It's awful.
8. Thanks Byo, they are both excellent.
9.
Sorry, I can't really answer that as there are so many variables. What I would say is I usually drive it off the P pup, and it sounds like a smooth P with tone rolled off. There is a link to a GAK demo in the 1st post. I also came across this review by our very own Geofio https://www.youtube....h?v=1Zbgr7KB6wM
That youtub one is my very bass bought it off George. Mine is common? cheeky slut at least mine is mint
10. I actually have the CAR one, I'm a lucky boi.
11. Fairly slim on these post 2012 models Mike, very easy to play even with my small hands.
12. Thanks Alex & Marc, Marc, you know only too well Temptation and boredom are a bad mix, these basses are all you'd ever want in any P bass, so what's wrong with me,? I'll tell you what's wrong, I'm retired but still playing and I've fallen under the influence of one 'Karlfer'
13. Well it's that time again. I think I have what I want and then I haven't This is my best P bass It has SD-SPB-2 pickups which are awesome, and has a KiOgon loom specially fitted with a silent kill switch and easy change connectors. Pearl pickguard, with a slighty yellow tint. Weight is: 8.8 lbs sounds superb and in mint condition and fitted with chrome covers. The price is delivered to mainland UK EDIT*** I took the bridge cover off to clean everywhere and discovered a small crease caused by the rough edge of the cover. I'm mortified as I take so much care of my stuff so here is a pic of it. It can't be seen when the cover is on but it's there. I have reduced the price to reflect this and I'm now asking a very reasonable £430 delivered. 14. Why won't you ship it Harry?
15. Yup I have this one: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/264869-nnd/page__p__2811230__hl__lyte__fromsearch__1#entry2811230 Only one in the world wiv a maple board courtesy of Jon Shuker....
16. That's nearly half price Mike's gear is always in excellent condition so deal with confidence. Mate, I'd have it like a shot but I can't cope with rosewood..... the weight is very appealing though.
17. Well I'm pleased my enquiry made someone's mind up to buy it.
18. How wide is the neck please? Also the weight. thanks.
19. where did you get the curly lead from Karl? I love them but they don't seem to last 5 mins, well Kurly koils don't. Good band and good playing too!
