1. Hey guys, here is my JB-2 for sale whch I bought new a few months ago. It's up because my Precisions are getting all the use, especially the home made ones. It's got a low action and plays exactly as it should. These are powerful basses and sound great. There is a small chip to the paint on the top near the neck pocket, I can't get it to show up on camera but if you didn't know it was there you would have trouble seeing it. The top grain is pretty special too. Price is delivered by courier. 2. Definately much more power but very good definition, to me better than a US fender pickup but not by a lot, have to say.
3. Cheers John.
Post some pictures Tom
Ok this is it: One of the best players I've ever had. It's very light, body is Pawlonia, you need light tuners to avoid the slight neck heaviness, I used wilko's. Cheap but good project.
5. Totally agree. I just bought a P bass for 35 quid off Gear4music, also bought one of their 35 quid necks and fettled it by filing the edges and rolling the neck to make it easier to play. I fitted some lightweight wilkinson tuners, a new Dimarzio DP127 pickup and a spare KiOgon loom I had in the drawer. Now I have a gorgeous black bass that is very light (7.5 lbs) and sounds like thunder, it's almost perfick. I love messing about like this. Actually it would be even cheaper if I sold the rosewood neck.....
6. I've heard that the volume is a bit 'on off' on these and while they play like butter it can get a bit messy. (Sorry I'll get me coat) Looks seriously nice, I love the neck! Glad you're happy with it.
7. Just a thought for the future, Gear4music do a maple or rosewood neck for about 37 quid, I bought the maple one and it's brilliant.
8. Set of tuners in 'black chrome' bought from here a couiple of years ago and I was told they were Fender but I really don't know. They seem like decent quality. I haven't used them, I put them in a drawer and forgot about them. Price is posted. £20 POSTED. **shafts look to be 12mm** Pics:

11. Here is my Roland CM30 which is a cube amp of 30w and several inputs for guitar, microphones etc', a very versatile unit for say, a one man band or small venues. we found it very useful but we've moved on to something else now so it's up for grabs. Price is posted. 17. Hi guys, Just bought a schaller 2000 fender fit bridge and I got no instructions with athough it was new. Can anyone tell me how to adjust intonation please? I've worked everything else out I think. I read on t' interwebnet that you use the height screws which doesn't make sense. I can see where the fore/aft slides are... thanks. Tom.
18. I've just bought a bridge from Greg, great communicator, very prompt despatch and as I need it quickly he went out of his way to accomodate me, probably at his extra cost too. I am really pleased with my deal and Greg is a true gentleman of the Basschat manor and I look forward to dealing again. thanks Greg. Tom.
