  1. Come on guys this is a great bass for £120 DELIVERED! This is a no brainer, a new Crafter Cruiser Active Bass with just a passing resemblance to a Rikky. With a solid hardwood body, with a bubinga top and back veneer. Styled loosely on the body shape of Rickenbacker with it's elongated top horn. The neck is a bolt on maple number, and has a super fast rosewood fingerboard. A simple two volume and two tone controls set up, to look after the pair of de-luxe active Cruiser CX bass pickups It has a full size 34 inch scale length, with 24 jumbo frets. For this money it is a seriously good bit of bass kit, and the perfect entry to the bass player looking for the active option. It has an excellent action and is quite light. These are on Ebay for £170 so at £139 & free delivery, this is a bargain. Thanks for looking.
  2. Bump. These are remarkable for the money..

  8. Can't see it? is it in your name?
  9. Oh right, wasn't aware of that thanks. On the cab side then does no-one rate ashdown cabs? Why? What's better in the same price range?
  10. Hi guys, as title. Anyone use the little B? any good? bear in mind this is for church use and I'm looking for bottom end that doesn't sound muddy or that you're listening to it with half blocked ears. Do you know what I mean here? I'm competing with keyboard, drums and 2 electro acoustic guitars so not your average church! For a cab I'm looking at the Ashdown MAG410T 4x10 Deep Blackline Bass Speaker Cab. Now these are available with blueline speakers as well so which is better? Any thoughts, comments or alternatives very welcome. Bear in mind I currently play a USA Precision or a Jazz. I don't want lots of sliders, eq's etc' because I'd never use them. KISS and all that.
  11. Sold to Mr Smash! Thanks Ash.

  17. Hi, I'm sure you all know about these, standard and unmodified Ibanez TS9 tube screamer. Couple of small marks but all works fine. Looking for £75. No box and I'll supply an aftermarket new PSU Thanks.
  18. Just bought Bob's new Precision bass. What a true gent! Fastest deal I've ever done. Paid Sunday night, bass arrived Tuesday at 7.30am, can't get better than that. Thank you very much Bob, hope to deal with you again. Tom.
  19. Thanks Huw, the sounds it makes with the wizards are awesome, if it had a maple neck it wouldn't be going anywhere. I'm actually ordering some of these pickups for my orange Jazz this week.
  20. Ok back up for sale as the buyer had to back out.
  21. No thanks Anthony, not my cup of tea.
  22. Looks like new, works fine. Can sort out a power supply too. Zoom B2 Bass Guitars Effects Optimized for bass guitar the Zoom B2 comes with seven effects modules with 45 effects types, an ultra-wide frequency response of 20Hz-40kHz (which is 20kHz wider than some pro-quality recording studio preamps), a built-in drum machine with 40 rhythm patterns, an integrated chromatic tuner, and to top it all off, the Zoom B2 has a price that will make you look twice. Did we mention it has the guitar tones that Zoom is famous for? It definitely does. £79 on Evilbay, yours for £45 delivered wink.gif Ta, Tom. **There is no box or instructions, sorry**
  23. Hi, this doesn't get any use at all because I now play bass. In fact it's never been used at all. spec from JHS: KUSTOM 'DOUBLE BARREL' GUITAR AMPLIFIER Last year Kustom launched a neat little guitar combo called the 12 Gauge – emphasised with a novel 12 bore shotgun cartridge case end picture stuck over the speaker coil. The 12 Gauge was a blast, taking the concept of using a small-ish watts amp to drive a big speaker, for a huge – but easily controllable – sound that’s loads of fun to play. In the case of the 12 Gauge, the combo was based around a 16 watt amp driving a 12” speaker, and one of the 12 Gauge’s party tricks was that it could be hooked up to a bigger speaker cabinet like a 4 x 12” for a totally raging sound. If the 12 Gauge was, and is, a ton of fun then joining two together will be double everything – including the fun factor! And that’s exactly what Kustom offer with the Double Barrel – a double barrel 12 Gauge – a solid state amp knocking out a healthy 30 watts into two 12” Kustom speakers. If you use your amp for more than just blasting away – sorry, practising hard – at home, then the Double Barrel is a much more practical and useable proposition with a fair old output on it, meaning you could use it at rehearsals, jam sessions and on smaller gigs (if your drummer isn’t too loud..). The Double Barrel is a two-channel amplifier (Lead and Clean) which features a sturdy plywood baffle board. Nice simple control layout too, single jack input then Lead channel’s Gain and Volume rotaries, a small push Channel Select switch to the Clean channel’s single volume rotary. Bass, Middle and Treble EQ controls next, nice and straightforward, and the final rotary is Effect Level – one small switch moves this between Delay and Reverb, while another small switch on the other side of the knob selects the onboard Chorus option. Just along from this is the Double Barrel logo, then a chunky blue Power On jewel light, and the Power toggle switch. Round the back, under the rear panel, sit a further four jack sockets; Speaker Out, Line Out, Headphones and CD/Tape Input. The Double Barrel is a steal. Armed robbery, in fact! These retail at £199, yours for £130. Prefer collection but delivery may be possible.
  24. Usual sent, Thanks Bob
