    Morning all. I'm still having trouble finding a bass That is light to wear, appeals to me and has some grunt low down. I suppose a Precision is the ideal but they all seem to weigh circa 9-10 lbs wich is still heavy for me. Sooo if I bought a Squier made of cheap wood ie' basswood or Agathis is that lighter? Then if I bought the 'right' bits to make it a proper P bass would it work? I really don't know where to turn now. Yes I could get one made but at my age I'd probably be dead before it was ready due to the time some of them need to make it. So what do you think? should I make one out of a squier?

    No thanks, Cort imo are very underrated bass's. I like them very much but there's a limit to how many one person can own

    Well, I never thought I'd do this but my shoulder/neck is now quite bad and I need a fair amount of loot to buy the lightweight bass I want and this is one bass that should help a lot by selling. I bought this brand new in November 2008 from Sound Control and since then It's not had much use and lives for the most part in its case. I'm not going into specs because you all know what these are and how good they are too. It's fitted with a pearl scatchplate but the original black one will be included. It will come in its hard case which is also in exemplary condition. Price is £850 delivered to your door by next day courier, bank transfer only. Think of this as a new bass with a good discount and you're there. Thanks for reading.
