1. The last time I tried to have a bass collected from a third party I was charged twice, when I queried this I was told it was because I booked it, and because it wasn't collected from me here, they charge double. Check it and see. I commented on this because it happened to me twice with different couriers.
2. I thought it read: "So after much medication"
3. Haven't seen you for a while B5, you ok?
4. Please feel free to delete this but it's good information from years of trading: There must be quite a few sales lost on here because people are unwilling or unable to ship. First I'll address packing a bass, if you don't have a suitable box then go to your local bike shop and ask them for a bike transport box. These things are used to ship expensive bikes from the Far East and are really tough as people who've bought from me will testify. They need cutting down to about half of their height and yes it's a bit of a mess on but if it gets you a sale? You'll also need brown packing tape, a sharp stanley type knife and newspaper to scrunch up around the bass. This is very effective. If your bass is in a hardcase then you can even just cut some smaller boxes up and wrap the case up in them. Couriers: When a seller says "you can arrange your own courier" they don't seem to realise that you have to pay twice to do it that way. Once for the trip to collect it and once for the delivery so twice the cost to the buyer. This is just being lazy imo, all you need to do is fill a form in on Interparcel's site, pay with a card and prices with UPS start at £6.99 + vat!! Very cheap. What I'm saying to sellers is, put yourself out a bit and show willing, yes it's a bit of a hassle but if you get a sale so what? feel free to shoot me down in flames. Or pin this. Have a great day! Tom
5. Oh boy, my favourite colour and model. (Note to self: you got arthritis remember??) bollox.

Slowwww.....

I'm sorry to say that the site for me is extremely slow and is the same as it was when launched. Also if I'm reading a thread and click on a link, when I go back to the thread to continue reading it always goes to the top of the page and not to where I left it. This leads to a lot of scrolling to get back to where I was, and because it runs so slowly it takes ages to scroll too. Can anything be done about this please? cheers, Tom.
8. Man can he play too Cheers David.
9. Mine is still slow, especially scrolling up and down pages. Doesn't help that I'm impatient. I'm 65 and I haven't enough time left to wait around for slow websites
10. You selling my old Teal Musicman Linus? I love this Jazz btw, bump.
11. Bought David's CV Jazz and had a very pleasant, easy transaction. Very kindly delivered it to my door. Highly recommended Basschatter, deal with confidence, bass better than described, good to meet Vicky too. Thanks very much sir. best regards, Tom.
12. Sorry no I'm giving up playing due to ill health.
13. Karl is a gent to deal with folks, I'd love this Cab!
14. Ah cheers Karl, you're always welcome to come and have cawfee and a play It's an excellent bass and a proper weight too. No problem with weak pickups either, these'll blow your hat off
15. As before, my SR P bass fitted with a Wizard pickup. When I bought the pickup, I bought it as a stealth pickup but I'm told they have black magnets so it looks like I've been done? Anyway it is a wizard and it's feckin' loud. Has a Bassdoc yellowy pearl guard specially made for it but I may have the SR too. This looks great, sounds amazing and plays great and it's £90 delivered! If someone played it they'd buy it. cheers.
16. I've moved these to separate adverts now. Retrovibe Aero 1 totally as new and these aren't made anymore, really good Aerodyne copy with a brilliant finish, great action and loud pickups. Currently fitted with a good quality pearl pickguard and the original black one will be included. The neck is bolt on, but then the best strats have a bolt on neck too Looking for £160 delivered on the UK mainland. sold thanks.
17. Is there any interest in the Ryder if I part it out?
