1. Now down to £160 for the pedal + power supply or I'd settle for £50 + a Tone Hammer in comparable condition Thanks, Doug
2. I'd love to take this off your hands but I need to shift my BassBone first :-(
3. Hi All, I'm selling my Radial BassBone. I've had it for about 6 months during which time it's only been used a couple of times. It's a great piece of kit but I'd like to use a Tone Hammer instead. I'm looking for £180 for the pedal + power supply or I'd settle for £50 + a Tone Hammer in comparable condition. Like I said, I've only used it a couple of times so the pedal is unmarked although I have stuck the rubber feet supplied to the bottom. The instructions, Radial power supply and original interior bag are included as is one of the three Radial stickers that came with the box (the others are stuck to my rack and won't come off!). Full details of the bassbone can be found here: http://www.tonebone.com/tb-bassbone.htm If you have any questions then please ask.
4. My NEO 210 finally turned up - Polar Audio flew it in from the US after I ordered it in the middle of March! I actually ordered the cabs at the same time so it's a shame the badges don't match (there was a delay of about a month between delivery). I'll have to see if I can get a spare badge. If anyone wants to hear her, she'll be making her public debut on Thursday night at the Water Rats with my band (http://www.myspace.com/earthhoursofficial) Cheers, Doug

6. If I hadn't bought a Fusion 550 a couple of months ago I'd have bitten your arm for this
7. So, anybody got their straps yet? I'm still waiting for mine (the cheque was cashed on the 15th June, nearly three weeks after I posted it) and the seller has not replied to me any of my messages since I sent them the cheque. It was only a fiver but still, I'm getting pretty annoyed! Cheers, Doug
8. Have bump on me... Great cab - I've got one too (and I had to wait months too, still waiting for the 2x10). £320 is a great price!
9. Ooohhh - very tempted. Mines just died. I took the back off to have a look - it's serial number #92. One of the early ones I guess. Great pedal. I'll have a think over night.
10. Hi All, I've been hanging around for a couple of months and made the odd post or two. I'm starting to check the forums more often these days so I thought I'd take the time to introduce myself properly. My names Doug, I'm 34 and have a steady 9 to 5 job. When I'm not working I'm playing bass. I've been playing for about 18 years now but with a 5 year break while my kids were born. I started playing again about a year ago and finally found a band about 6 months ago, we made out debut on stage a month ago and it went pretty well (link down in the signature). My favourite players/influences are John Deacon (I was in a Queen tribute band "Fat Bottomed Queen" - they're called "They Will Rock You" now), Duff McKagan, John Paul Jones and Tom Hamilton. I've been using the same two basses for around 10 years now, a Warwick LX5 and US Precision but have recently changed my amp from a Hartke M2000/410TP/115TP stack to a GK Fusion 550/NEO 115/NEO 210 stack. I'm having all kinds of fun trying to get that 210 - it's been stuck in a container in the US for 2 months now. But the head and 115 sounds bloody great. Anyway, that's me done... hi! Doug
11. Hi All, I've recently replaced my old, faithful Hartke M200, 410TP and 115TP stack with a more powerful GK stack. Unfortunately, the head is to ill to sell but I am putting the cabs for for sale for £175 for the pair. Both are in good condition for their age. They have been clawed a bit by my cat but the pictures make it look a lot worse then they are. They have given great service and sound as good now as they did when I first bought them. I'm based in Medway, Kent so you'd have to be able to pick them up although I would be prepared to meet a buyer at either Clackett Lane or Thurrock services to arrange a drop off. I'm also happy for any potential buyer to come and try the cabs (though a weekend would be preferable since I have small children). Please drop me a PM if you're interested or have any questions. Thanks for looking, Doug
12. I've just got myself an Aguilar TLC. I'm not 100% up to speed with it yet but it sounds pretty good so far. Cheers, Doug
13. I've been using my Fusion 550 for almost a month now. It sounds great - so much punch it's hard to believe. The two channels are fantastic, having two different sounds available for pick and finger style. I know most heads these days come with a tuning mute but that's also a godsend. I running it through an old Hartke 4x10 Transporter and it sounds incredible. I've got 1x15 and 2x10 NEO cabs on order from the Bass Center so once those arrived I'll be GK'd to the max :-) My only complaint is that the stuff is so hard to come by here. The distributor had the 1x15 in stock but I have to wait for the 2x10 to be shipped from the US. I managed to find 2 Fusion 550s in the whole country when I was ready to buy - crazy! Cheers, Doug
14. I took delivery of a new Fusion 550 this morning. I've only run it briefly but it sounds awesome, absolutely massive tone. I love it!
15. I've not been playing for a few years while I've been waiting for my kids to sleep through the night.... I dragged all my gear out of storage a couple of months ago. Unbelievably it's all working 5 after 5 years being covered in cobwebs! My Hartke stack, currently 13 years old and still going strong: My Pedal Board: My main bass, Warwick LX-5 My secondary bass, Fender US Precision Cheers, Doug
16. There's some mighty fine axes in this thread already. Here's my contribution, my Streamer LX-5: She's 10 years old this September - anyone know how to determine her real age? Cheers, Doug
17. Thanks Hugh I'll see if I can get a set of them around here. Cheers, Doug
18. Hi All, It's my first post here so please be nice to me :-) After a long break from playing I need to get myself some new strings for my 5-String Streamer. The saddle on the bridge of the B string is so narrow it can only take a taper wound and at this point I don't want to have it enlarged. I usually buy Warwick Black Label - I'm happy with the sound and quality of them but I'm just curious to try something else. My question is does anybody know of any other brands which have a taper wound E and B? I also noticed that DR sell some "Peacock Blue" strings - does anybody have any experience of these? I must admit that I really like the idea of having blue strings but if the sound and life of the strings is rotten I won't bother. Cheers, Doug
