1. Sorry mate - it was sold yesterday but I've not updated the topic - I'll do that now. Cheers, Doug
2. One of these popped up on ebay yesterday for £290.... mine is considerably cheaper even with the postage :-)
3. Thanks for letting me know - I had a guy buy my NEO115 off me only to return it 20 minutes later after he'd been unable to get it in his car!
4. No problem - I'm sure it'll still be here. Cheers, Doug
5. Hi All, The £250 excludes postage. Based on a weight of 22kg and dimensions of 25"x21"x20" I'd be happy to offer parcel force 24 (£11.49 + VAT) and packing for 17.00 (£13.79 for the postage and the remainder for a box and packing materials). Cheers, Doug
6. It's an 8 Ohm cab rated at 400 watts. You'll have no problems bi-amping it with an RB series head - I did exactly that with my Fusion 550 head. The GK biamp cable is included in the sale. I'll have a look at the postage and update the listing later today.
7. Hi All, I'm selling my GK NEO 210 - I've owned it from new for about 2 years and is in pretty good condition. I've gigged it a few times but it doesn't have any real damage, just a couple of scuffs on the edges, the worst of which are in the picture below. Also included (but not shown) are the GK speakon cable and manual - you don't get the head :-) I'm looking for £250 + delivery or you can collect from me in ME1 3GP. I would also accept an MXR El Grande or Bass Fuzz Deluxe in part payment. If you've any questions, please ask.
8. If you still have this in a couple of months, I will relieve you of it :-)
9.
Don't let this go for less than £600. There must be a limit where people can't expect a price to go lower. This is one helluva bass for £600. If you can't afford it then you can't have it.
Thanks :-) But yes, ask, I can only say no :-)
10.
It's already a bargain
Thanks mate!
11. I'm afraid there's no room for movement on the price. I've already reduced it to £600 from £700 which I feel is a fair price. Admittedly it's quite old now but the basses from that period are well regarded and mine is virtually unmarked. You would be hard pushed to find one from the same year in the same condition.
12. It really would be an absolute steal :-) An absolute bargain for £600!
13. I don't go that far very often - sorry. I've a gig in Swindon in June but hopefully it'll be sold my then.
14. ...bit of a cockup with eBay so I still have this. Anyone want to save me the trouble or listing it again?
15. It *looks* like it's connected - I'll check it properly with a multi-meter tomorrow. The bridge is black but the paint on the bottom has been filed off to get a good connection. Mines a little more complicated than your diagram as in addition to the 2 volume and single tone pot I have a selector switch too.
16. Hi All, I'm having some problems with my Jazz Special - basically, it's really, really noisy. I recently replaced the pickups with an SD Hot Stack in the bridge position and a Fender P in the neck (they call it the "Original"). I also replaced the bridge at the same time. Since then I've had lots of noise issues. With both pickups on full I get a loud buzzing. If I touch the bridge, machine heads, or exposed metal in the pickup selection switch the buzzing stops and the bass sounds fine. If I touch the top of my amp, the buzzing stops. When I play the instrument there is a definite electrical click when the string makes contact with the fret. Using my US P or my Warwick Streamer I don't get an issues. I've not got any other pedals etc. plugged into the same socket.. just the amp I'm playing through.... I don't recall having any noise issues before I replaced the pups and bridge but it's possible they were there - the bass is over 20 years old! Can anyone shed any light on my problem? Is this an earthing problem or something else? Cheers, Doug
17. Yep, I'm a big Duff fan - he's the reason I first picked up the bass too. Until last November I was in a GNR tribute. Here we are playing the song in question (that's me in the blonde wig!) I've got some dep gigs for them coming up and while I relearn some of the tracks I thought I'd try and record as many of them as possible. Cheers, Doug
