  2. Bought a source audio aftershock pedal from Bill. Was straightforward and quick to deal with. Pedal is in great condition as described at a great price. Arrived promptly. Would happily deal with Bill again
  3. I can't vouch for the quality and it's the wrong headstock, but it is 32" https://retrovibe.co.uk/product/retrovibe-bass-neck-32-medium-scale-20-fret-maple-blackwood/
  4. This is also true for the current Squier Jaguar Classic Vibe. The neck on mine is great for me.

  7. never done it , but this might help gofundme seems to be the most used platform. https://www.gofundme.com/en-gb/c/crowdfunding
  8. Although I am happy with my Jaguar. Pretty sure I would have clicked buy on this if it had been available in March. https://retrovibe.co.uk/product/retrovibe-gr01-gripper-bass-prototype-32-scale-amber-trans-maple-neck-one-off/
  9. Got a loom for a Squier Mustang CV. Arrived in less than 48 hrs. I’ve only ever changed strings previously but this was super straightforward and John was super helpful. I needed to make the holes on the control plate a little bigger, John provided great guidance and it was very easy. Most importantly it has made the bass sound better and provided more range of tones.
  10. Thanks for all the suggestions and offers. I've just taken ownership of a 32" Squier Classic Vibe Jaguar, from the BC marketplace. It was local enough and affordable enough to be a great option to try out medium scale. Looking forward to plugging it and trying it out.
  11. This is really testing by resolve to try out a medium scale and not get second short scale. GLWS.
  12. lovely I have the same squier. I have been thinking how nice it would be to get the white and blue pawn shop fender to pair with it.
  13. Thanks. Costs and risk is a concern. Tempting as it is.
  14. If this was nearer to me I would bite your hand off. GLWTS.
  15. A lot of the articles about new Behringer products in development seem to be lifted from social media but miss out a key element. Which is they are openly trying to work out how many people might want to buy it. In this case on Instagram they end with “What’s your interest?” Which is a bit more of a commitment than the Mooger Fooger post which clearly says it’s a prototype and asks for feed back “before we manufacture it” I think it’s a great approach. And the clones all look very cool.

  17. I’ve decided to try a medium scale bass and I’m looking for something in the £200 to £500 range. Pre-loved preferably. There isn’t a huge amount around compared to short scale. I’ve created a list of ones I know about. What am I missing? Are there any to avoid? 18. I’d also be interested in a trade involving a 32 inch scale Jaguar. .
  19. A couple of people have asked about the weight. (I know, I could have predicted that). I'm away from home, will try and weigh it tomorrow evening and update the add. It doesn't feel very light, but my main frames of reference are a squire CV Mustang and a SGC Nanyo, both of which seem pretty light weight.
