  1. Hang on I thought she was Incontinentia Buttocks.... 🤔
  2. Jeesus.. I went on TorkBass and was banned forever within a week or something.
  3. There's always the naff "discs" popular term in the 70s, hence disc jockey ( easily confused with knob jockey 😁)
  4. Same here, I really couldn't hazard a guess now... when I was last doing gigs on a regular basis, the other bands on the bill were pretty much all I saw out there in the wild as it were..
  5. The main thing is if the pu's sound good, use 'em, doesn't really matter who made them. I quite like their well used look myself. Great project anyway, those bodies look great for the money.
  6. No one Loves a Fairy when She's 40, Tessie O'Shea
  7. Agreed, I quite fancy a semi acc. & I'd have it at that price as it stands, but wouldn't want to pay much more.
  8. You're supposed to say "nice pu$$y"... Keep up
  9. I wouldn't have minded trying Carol Drinkwater circa 1979...
  10. I've also found drummers to be dlcks more often than gits tbh..
  11. Ah the old pants trick.. 👍
  12. Best just bin really.. That's the best policy with socks too, get cheap £ shop ones, wear em till they stink, throw them, simples
  13. Those MM adverts / flyers are great, lots of bands you've totally forgotten about, Punishment of Luxury we did a few support slots for, various places up north somewhere as I recall. Bloody Classix Nouveux, with the bald bloke, were always playing at the MM, we got sick of seeing them in the end..
  14. This would've been a little bit after the first gig described as I seem to be on the Sattelite (or whatever it was) bass that I borrowed for a while, replacing the crappy woolworths thing. Can't remember where this was at all, surprised I still had the pic. Looks to be attempting vocals too, bad idea.
  15. I'm fairly sure myself and a mate saw an early incarnation or A&tAs in their original more "arty" pre teen pop star format. Me and this bloke ( our drummer of the period) were always going to gigs when not playing ourselves, the Music Machine in Mornington Cres. had bands on literally 7 nights a week and virtually everyone who was around at the time played there. ( and dead cheap to get in) Those "small blue tablets" were widely available in there too, 3 for a quid
  16. You can fake a bit of "jazz gitarr" with a couple of simple chord shapey type things, but you'd prob only get away with it for one "tune" ( so about an hour then..) ps. Some bloke on YouTube gives precise instructions on how to do this btw..
