3.
Hi - I'm a newbie so forgive what may be a dumb question. It's called a '62 reissue, but with the stacked pots, is it not a 1960 reissue?... Not to nitpick, it's just for my understanding as I migth be interested in purchasing. Is the neck super-thin like an original '60/'62 please? Regards
No worries, I dont know is the answer, many people have said the same before. Fender eh..... Still it looks pretty and sounds nice which is the main thing... Sorry for the delay, Pm's replied, will get serial number etc.. up asap. .... Lazy selling type Bump
  4.
Sorry, didn't look at your thread as I had nothing to offer Does this 62 come with the ash trays or muting stuff? Cheers, Karl.
Nope, just as you see it. Has been like that since before I bought it. (They only get in the way anyway )
What's the year or serial number? Thanks. Nice looking bass.
Thanks. Will look it up and get back to you. I have no internet at home currently so can only BC from the office... (How useless are BT these days?!! ... ) Oh and .... Sunny Saturday Bump
  5.
Stunning. When the chap who advertised that he wanted a 62 has made his mind up, I may well be in touch. If it's still here Bump.
Think he is sorted by the sound of it, so still available for all who like pretty blue sparkly things.
  6. ^^ Lush. Classic Sabre incoming.. so excited..... will post pics when it arrives
  7.
Are these Nitro finished ?
Yep
  8. Hi Harry Yes.... love the 62's, great basses but I just know I should never have sold my Sabre, I'm a MM type of guy really...GAS...... How are you getting on with my last one?! Thanks for this mate, will be in touch. Tom
  9. Hi all. For sale a beautiful USA made 62RI That i picked up a few months ago from Eubassix on here as a trade. I have recently given the bass a set-up and new set of strings. It is a 90's era bass and has some light mojo as seen in the pics but none of it noticable unless at very close range. A great playing bass, fairly light weight, rare colour for a 62RI and a really nice dark rosewood board too. Hardcase included. Reason for sale: I have just ordered a MM classic Sabre and need the funds. Would love to keep it as well but 1 in 1 out rule dictates not. So no trades, thanks. N.B £880 is delivered UK price. £850 picked up. Will ship overseas but will be £850 + shipping & Insurance which you will sort. Thanks. TK Pretty pics below, enjoy :
  10. Lazy bank holiday Bump...
  11. All of this is avoiding the real issue... what came first: precision or egg??
  12. I concur with all the above. Bought a Mesa Bronco head case from Martin. Great communication, good packaging and prompt delivery. Highly recommended.
  13. Ah..... eubassix: a man of many feedback threads... I did a trade deal with David and as many others have attested, not a better guy to deal with could you find. Great communications and highly recommended!!
  14.
Check out Iggy and The Stooges' rider: http://www.iggypop.o...oogesrider.html
Brilliant!!
  15. For that sort of budget I would be looking at an older Trace head 300w ish and a 2nd hand BF cab (Super12 or similar). Can't go too far wrong with that, can upgrade the head whenever/ if you need and the cab will take plenty more horsepower if you ever need it too. You are welcome to come and try mine out whenever BTW...

    Fave guitar solo?
I really like John Frusciante's solos, especially on Stadium Arcadium. This is one of my favourites (2:47) Less is more!
+1 Frusciante just blows my mind with his "feel", he has got it in spades IMHO This is my fave: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrLSUNhH_5c
  17. Bump for a great amp and a great guy to deal with to boot. I sold this amp to go micro and very quickly found out that I had made a big mistake..... Mesa'd up again now so happy. Compressor works ok as a limiter at low levels, pretty brutal on the tone with higher settings in my experience.
  18.
Being local, I am intrigued by which pub this is - feel free to use PM if you want to keep it non-public.
Will do. Bit of an update on this. Our singer e-mailed the local newspaper's gig guide man to tell him we were no longer playing there on Saturday, this was his reply: Just as well. Tale a tip: Don’t accept gigs at the ********. It’s hell playing there and they often don’t pay up at the end of the night. I’ve heard this from several local bands. So seems like we did the right thing in the end.
