1. Utter bargain. If you can get round the name these sound pretty good. Good luck with the sale
  2. Andy bought my SWR headlite amp. Great guy to deal with, prompt payment and no mucking about etc.. Highly recommended for all your (future/inevitable) GAS transactions. Cheers Andy. TK
  3.
I think about 6000 of those views are mine, alas funds don't allow at the moment. I'll have to be content with the musicmen I already have.
Which musicmen do you have?...
  4. Thanks for all the interest, tis by far the best distortion for Bass I have tried. It is about a year/18 months old so made in Finland, like this one yer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21ovdJJwjg0&feature=relmfu No trades this time thanks
  5. I just bought a Mesa BigBlock amp from Paul. You could not hope to deal with a better chap. Great communication, amp in perfect condition and A1 standard packaging. Highly recommended for your future GAS transactions, deal with 100% confidence. TK
  6. Hi all. I have one of these famed and much loved, holy grail of bass distortion pedals for sale, £180 delivered to your door (uk only) Mint condition, still with original box etc.. The only reason for sale is I just replaced my amp with a Mesa Big Block which has a monster overdrive channel so this will now be, effectively, redundant. (see what i did there....I'll get me coat ) Having computer trouble currently so no pics yet sadly, unless you pm me your mobile numder and I could text you a rough pic for what it's worth..? Thanks for looking..
  7. Weekend Bump + Would consider trades with a 30th anniversary Stingray (pretty specific I know, but hey you got to try) :-)
  8. Thanks for all the kind words guys. Pm's replied Chris & Jens Having a think Re: yours Tom Thanks all
  9.
WHATS THE ACTION LIKE AND HOWS THE PICKUP OUTPUT ALSO, IS IT SHIELDED TOO?
Er... where do you start? Action and Pickup output are pretty personal/non scientific measures..... Action is good for me, pretty low, would go lower I imagine. Usual Jazz output difference between two pick ups more output overall to my ears/mind/memory than my old 73 Fender Jazz if that helps? Shielding I don't know, never looked, Its passive so obviously not as much of an issue as if it were active. Under really heavy distortion there is some noise but not what you would call unusual. Silent when clean through my rig.
This looks exactly like my old one, right down to the bridge, did it come from Glasgow ?
I think you could be right uke.
Favourite colour combo

Lovely looking bass... good luck

That is lovely! :-), best wishes with the sale. John
Thanks you guys!
  10.
Nice bass - set off beautifully by the green fluro strings - I'm surprised you haven't had more comments..
Thanks ....Bump

  12. Hi again, Part:3 of my sell some gear mission: This is a lovely late 70's/early eighties Tokai Jazz sound. Great little bass, It plays and sounds better than most of the Fender jazzes that I have had anyway. It has a fair few knocks and dings here and there and I don't think that this is the original bridge but it is a super cool looking and great sounding, highly gig-able bass. Comes with a pretty bog standard gig bag, so you may want to send a case or come and pick it up. Will obviously reduce price for pick up. Cheers for looking. ..... Update 18-09-12 ... seems this is a tad overpriced, as kindly pointed out, so now £330 delivered
  13. Part 2 of my gear rationalisation program: I have put this up before and changed my mind but this time she has to go, a real workhorse of a bass. This bass is heavy at 11lbs, but plays like a dream and sounds like the sort of bass that Flea would love! This started as a 1988 Sabre and the body and electrics are all original. Status neck and G&L bridge fitted and modified by me as part of a really great fun project. It has a few small knocks and dents here and there but is in pretty good order for its age. Comes with a really good Gigbag, spare pickguard, DR Neons and a temperamental 3 way switch!.... which does work with a wiggle but probably wants replacing (It is always 100% fine on the back pickup which is what sounds best anyway) No Trades. Cheers for looking
