Sorry, me again. I replied to a FS thread a couple of days back for two g****r rack preamp in which I requested that the seller PM me payment details. I've searched every way I can think and it's not showing up. Of course, I may have dreamt it, but it's an oddly unambitious dream even for me? Am I mad, is it extraordinarily hard to search things even posted the same week, or has it simply gone? I really wanted the gear so would be great if someone could find it for me

Yep, but check out the pics in the link, they are more convincing. They won't feel like a Wal in the flesh, but plenty will get sold in various places and people will get burned. I ride Italian bikes, and the 'Chinarello' is now an accepted fact, that is a significant percentage of Pinarello bikes in circulation have turned out to be very very good visual replicas of the real thing (serial numbers etc all as should be the case), albeit far from good functional replicas, and with a couple of tell tale signature faults that the experts check for. That's why I said very early on in this thread that it could be a case of trying to move one of these one. I'm guessing it's not but the lack of any form of evidence to the contrary is increasingly a little odd

Hi Ped, yep, photos on phone not cloud. Re speed I get very slow times to open posts and server not responding error a lot still. C

Ped, I know how to do it, but site hangs when I try to upload photos, the timer/% icon sticks at around 1% and doesn’t move from there. Searched Mesa Boogie Venture several times yesterday and got different results every time. None of them showed the thread I wanted however! C

Ped, can’t upload pics from phone, search results are different each search and miss loads of things that should show, and site is very very slow most of the time, has fast moments for sure, but especially on macbook/chrome is painful. Might be my settings but everything else runs fine. PITAto use at present, sorry.

I can’t upload photos, just hangs indefinitely. Frankly, although I’ve held back from commenting to this point, the site is now a complete PITA to use for me, slow as hell, can’t find content, search results are nonsense, and I’m frankly giving up. C

Absolutely, I think we know best where we want to list iur gear. FS forums are the Life blood of this place - socially and financially - so not a good thing to mess with.

Stu, if this story results in a Wal being returned to long-lost owner or similar I'll happily donate £100 to a charity of your choice. If it turns to out to have been a noble attempt at the above - which it's looking like is the case - I'll still donate £50 to the same charity. I'll let TrevorR be the judge of the outcome.
