1. Can't seem to find any information about this one on the web, but i'll do my best to describe it. Hopefully one of you bass chatters' will be able to help me out with some details? I have for sale a 'Bluerock EB-118'. I'm assuming the 'EB' stands for 'Electric Bass' but I'm sure it would work equally well as a PA sub as well as a bass cab. It works great as a stand-alone cab for thick rock tones/reggae/dub or to add some extra low end to a 410. Even though it houses an 18" speaker which extends quite a bit lower into the bass spectrum than 115's I have used do, it also has a surprisingly good treble response. The extra low end makes it perfectly suitable for 5/6 string players who want an extra thick low B, or 4 string guys who just want to fatten up their tone. The cabinet stays clean even with my Hartke running through it cranked, no farts or distortion. Specification: - 8 Ohms - 300 Watts RMS - 600 Watts Peak - 1 x input - 1 x parallel out The cheapest 118 on the market that I can find at the moment is a Peavey priced at £180, so is £100 a fair price for this? Obviously pick up from Southport, Merseyside might be the best idea with this one due to it's size, but if you can want to sort a courier out that is fine also. Thanks for looking, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask, Dan

  8. Hi all, Up for sale is my Peavey Nitrobass 450 Watt solid state head that I recently purchased. The amplifier was sold to me along with a 118 cab but it is surplus to requirements. The amplifier itself is transparent, any bass you play through it sounds like itself, but it isn't as hi-fi as my current hartke. It's got a few stickers on it at the moment, but i'll try and remove them for you if you request it. - Rated at 450w (50 less than my hartke) it seems much louder. - Has a DI out with a dedicated volume control and ground lift. - Runs down to 2 ohms - Two jack inputs at rear - 3 band eq with variable mids and contour knob - active/passive switch - bright switch - tuner output - effects send and return - footswitch input (for turning effects on/off) - pre amp out - power amp in - speaker protector (fixed limiter) [s]£150 POSTED[/s] £130 POSTED If anyone has a 112 or a 210 they would like to trade i might accept that also. Any questions let me know, Dan
