From what I remember the bass was very audible in the mix but out front I reckon less low mids and some more treble would've improved the tone. That of course is only to my preferences! The tone was nice and growly though, very much a P sound, and every note came through clearly in your fills. I only got to the bar later on too so this must've been when you weren't going through the PA, so it was very impressive it being so audible. If you have a long enough guitar lead maybe try standing in front of the stage when you sound check so you can hear what you sound like in the mix properly? The stage/sound in general of that bar isn't great. The stage is small but hollow so it's pretty hard to avoid boominess. I've had decent results putting my amp on the side of the stage directly on the floor (have to keep an eye out for drunken dancers though!), or maybe try an amp stand or isolation pad thingy-ma-jig. All in all the experiences i've had/heard with Barefaced have all been positive, i'll have to get myself one!

    You mention the Ashdown LB only being 30w, but I wouldn't rule the brand out entirely. Ashdown have 15w, 30w, 100w, 200w, 300w, 400w, and 427w valve heads...

    Bought from our very own 'thumperbob_2002', i have owned this pedal for a year and a half and it has been on my pedalboard since then.     Bought from our very own 'basskit_case' i have owned this cabinet for only a few months and has mainly seen home practice/a few recording sessions since then. It is the perfect compadre for a little bastard head, making a portable rig that can be carried in one load!     One thing to note is that drivers in bass amps have a limited high frequency response. In other words, there is a high frequency roll off so the hiss you are hearing wouldn't come through the amp itself, which may be why you haven't heard it before. Or maybe it's just the hiss from the pre-amps in your interface?

    I hate to state obvious here, but have you tried adjusting the input gain in guitar rig? EDIT: I re-read and saw that you did.... Are you running anything else in the guitar rig software or just recording the clean signal from your amp?
