  8. buying a bass is like buying a pair of shoes. sure you can see which ones you like the look of... but the best way is to see which fits you the best. i could give you some examples.... but it would be much better if you went and decided for yourself. only you know what you like.
  9. you could probably get a decent jap fender used for that money. I say get a Jap P bass, and add a j pup in the bridge for versitility
  10. there is a feature in protools that corrects this... and its name has escaped me... argh! i was using a protools 8 HD system though, it might not be on other versions

  15. As the title suggests i'm selling my Ashdown MAG 410 Deep Cabinet. It has been used inside my home for the 2 years i have had it, has never been gigged and is in an as new condition.   16. this image on the manufacturer's website is the give away. Can you see the curve on one side of the nut? the fender style ones dont have that. x
  17. I'd just like to add, that if anyone likes the idea of this firepod but doensn't have any firewire ports on their pc, it is a very simple procedure to buy a firewire pci card and install it (most likely for under a tenner) good luck with the sale x

It will be slightly different, but not so much that it wont sound like an acoustic anymore. Give it a go and you'll see what i mean. x
  21. I tried one of these a few months back. It's a great improvement to the standard model, feels a lot nicer and sounds a lot clearer. well done gibson. x
