  1. Love my Thru-neck T-Bird Pro... Super Cool Looks, Meaty Mudbucker... ...with neck dive and a top body edge that will at least sore if not kill ya fore arm! You know how a Jazz won't stand up straight? or how the protruberance gets in the way on the sofa when sitting down, cos it's not a P?.. Well, its a bit like that, x10! As for the Schecter T or Frank Bello, Go HB50 Modder, Entwistle PJ Neo's? and have some fun! Honest Boring Answer Keep the J, look out for a cheap Thru or bolt-on neck T for the look.
  2. I'm a Police Car - Larry Wallis / Pink Fairies
  3. Not the amp, tried another bass How about with a finger on a pup case? I'd try removing the Pickup Case Ground / Braid... Half reminds me of mains hum on a turntable to amp... with the extra ground wire v's turn table psu grounded (rather than 2 wire and obvs the amp earthed)? I'd share you findings with Gemini Fingers Crossed.
  4. Tele Ring 67 x 16.5 Strat Ring 70 x 18.5 Strat Ring might go on with the the amount of room under the top plate to the windings... mmmm

  8. Found a nice Elctro Sockets Telecaster style Jack Socket Mounting with Multi Contact Pure Tone-a-like Socket - Looks Sleek 'n neat, Half fancy a Chrome Surround for 50's P Bass Modder to tidy the pickup route and 'Tie-In' the Hardware, Anyone? The Tele and Strat ones i can find dimensions for won't fit.

  13. Cream covers would soften the blow, have a look without a plate, or black plate if running ya fancy bell plate like a cravat, not Fancy like the Socks'n Braces combo... Like a Grey Pearl... but as the Cravat
  14. Whats it like 'No Plate' or Clear Plate? And Cream Covers Busy with the white covers, and not a fan of the bell plate. Might be better with black covers - not my Jazz Bag! I'm more plain and boring.

  22. Some 'Who do you want for your love?' funk... and LIVE Can't beat a bit of (Bully) Budgie...
  23. Didn't like the original finish, match sticked the scratch plate holes. Might go for a 'Age Appropriate' sticker... Fury Freak Brothers?
  24. String Length Issue? Rested the neck in the body, and offered up the Adagio Flats sacross the headstock, see what it looks like. The E is pulled thru the slot, till the thick winding, but has all this spare. The A, D & G are pulled up taught and fine, thick wind is short from the peg. Peg Center is 37" from the Bridge E Thick Wind is 38" - same as the A. String Thru Std or Odd Long String? Should i just wind the thick part round the peg? What flat wounds are you using on your HB PB50? Any cheap-ish make / model of Flats that are slightly shorter?
