Well, for a short time I owned a 2006 EBMM SUB, the US made no-frills Stingray. It had a slab body, like the Classic, and it just did not work for me. Real shame. Great bass but not for me. Well, someone else will hopefully love it.

Man, this bass looks killer and the EMG GZR pickups are awesome. One of my first basses was a Skyline and I remember how much I loved the feel of the neck. I also just read that you are "Happy to drive/meet up in the midlands or further if interested." You are in Mansfield, which is just 50 min north of me. Well, to save my marriage and our bank account, I better quickly take a blue pill and wake up, not knowing about it π

I like your thinking. I have one new bass coming in today but at the same time I am also selling four. So, does that not mean that I am now at -3 and that I can still buy three more basses and still end the year on 0? That's how it works, right? I will talk to my wife and test this hypothesis π

Hahaha. No, I only got this photo today, the bass itself should be here tomorrow, 22nd π

Look what's coming tomorrow π₯°

Not myself. I really like the look. Red and black. My fav colour combination. Found this review/gear talk video though. Mentions that the finish comes off, which is a bit of a bummer, esp. for people like me who are a bit OCD about these things

Good idea actually. Would save me lots of money, renting a bass instead of buying one. Maybe a kind of subscription service. You get 1 bass sent to you to use for a month and then you return it and get another one. I think that's how Netflix started out. They would send you DVD's in the mail and you would then send them back and get another one. Something like that, well, too long ago and my memory is not the best anymore, cannot even remember when I bought my last bass. Probably a long time ago, ok I need a new one π- 40 replies

Or do you mean that you already have too many TC basses? However, even this would not be possible π- 40 replies

There is no such thing as "too many basses". π- 40 replies

Congrats, this looks great. π€© I have the long-scale version (also natural finish but black hardware), but your wood grain looks soooo much nicer. I am jealous π Enjoy π- 40 replies

Same here. Sold most of my basses via BD. Good thing is that I drop off the bass(es) and that's that. I do not need to take photos (I do not have a good camera and only an old smart phone. Feel free to call me a dinosaur like my wife does too π) and BD takes excellent photos. I also do not have to write blabla to promote my bass and, most importantly, I do not have to deal with customer enquiries, including lowballers and scammers. Further, I do not have to worry about payment and shipping. So, with regard to the latter, no need to organise boxes, packing material, booking collection etc. Finally, I do not have to worry about the bass getting damaged in transit and buyers maybe wanting to return it. In sum, a lot of time-consuming hassle that I do not have to deal with and I am happy to pay BD 20% for it. YMMV.

Not only can you record farts but also sell them and make lots of money ($100,000 apparently): https://www.vice.com/en/article/epxpbz/stephanie-matto-fart-jar-nfts

Continuing with the blue theme, here's a song from a cool band that recently returned after a 10-year hiatus. Check it out!

Cool stuff. Is this the one BD had listed in their pre-owned section?
