  1. Yeah, didn't remember I had it, a friend lent it to me mid 1980's. Thought I'd see how my little Musical Fidelity Speakers coped, answer jolly well. Would be enhanced by alarge Camberwell Carrot though
  2. Found a copy of Starship Africa by Creation Rebel during a vinyl sort through. Next Heavy Machinery by Johansson brothers with Allan Holdsworth Then download of the latest Dirty Loops track.
  3. Got an Audere courtesy of @chimike of this Parish. All hitched up and this Bass sounds epic. Gonna need a bigger Amp
  4. Remember ages ago when I still did Telly, there was a show with James Taylor, Carole King et al. Not particularly my thing but lots of close ups of Mr Sklar. Such economy and musicality. Mesmerising.
  5. One thing Ak's don't do, as the proliferation and popularity can testify.
  6. Damnit can't get link to work please delete.
  7. Yeah, encountered him a few times, an extremely tall Gent
  8. Hadn't remembered he was on Stratus till I saw him trancing through this. Cobham and Bolin. The guy can play anything. The vids ramble a bit but He's so cool.
  9. Sort of like a Bass Chastity Belt!
  10. Peggy and Mattacks great unit on a great variety of sessions. Even god help us the Barron Knights.
  11. Agreed in spades. Had a weird yen for a Lefty MM Bongo. No longer available new, saw a Great red one in US but most definitely unobtainium
  12. Some of the Corts are ok @ below a Grand? Admittedly I only have an ancient but pristine Action 5 scored for £70 last year. It's pretty good.
  13. Like the one that doesn't look like a Fender clone. Don't dislike the others tho.
  14. Really enjoy Vulfpeck but I know what you mean. Some of their getting into it moves on the live vids look a bit false/mannered. The Gurning guy playing the hi-hat's highly amusing tho. They came over a bit snobby in the vid plugging the plug ugly MM signature IKEA Bass too.. Finally, Mr Dart's neck vertebrae are going to be utterly wrecked by his late 50's surely.
  15. Much as I like his selections, it's still - well - Craig Charles. To be fair he's evidently into the music and doesn't chat over much
  16. She's quite wry and funny too, the antithesis of her Dad. You just have to get over the realisation that you're old enuff for R2
  17. How much, what's the wattage on these?
  18. A sort of grope suit with one of those deep bass vibration units that Bass Direct are selling installed. Would need to be machine washable mind you!
  19. "The p**s end of my life" started me off weren't sure if my tears were laughter or sympathy😂🤣😙
  20. Thanks to Kiesel FB page have been getting into a startlingly good Country/Chickenpickin' Guitarist called Johnny Hiland. Sweep picking with additional fingernails and loads of Ghost Notes. Not my usual Genre at all but he's a Phenom for sure.
  21. As per EJ thread, Elton's car crash during recent streamed performance was utterly toe-curling. There's a rather cruel subtitled version doing the rounds on Facebook which is bloody funny.
  22. Peatbog Faeries are fun too, try Croftwerk or Mellowosity.
  23. Some of the Shades of Rhythm tracks, Consolidated, Meat Beat Manifesto Renegade Soundwave stuff was good too.
