Yeah, didn't remember I had it, a friend lent it to me mid 1980's. Thought I'd see how my little Musical Fidelity Speakers coped, answer jolly well. Would be enhanced by alarge Camberwell Carrot though
Found a copy of Starship Africa by Creation Rebel during a vinyl sort through.
Next Heavy Machinery by Johansson brothers with Allan Holdsworth
Then download of the latest Dirty Loops track.
Remember ages ago when I still did Telly, there was a show with James Taylor, Carole King et al. Not particularly my thing but lots of close ups of Mr Sklar. Such economy and musicality. Mesmerising.
Hadn't remembered he was on Stratus till I saw him trancing through this. Cobham and Bolin. The guy can play anything. The vids ramble a bit but He's so cool.
Really enjoy Vulfpeck but I know what you mean. Some of their getting into it moves on the live vids look a bit false/mannered. The Gurning guy playing the hi-hat's highly amusing tho. They came over a bit snobby in the vid plugging the plug ugly MM signature IKEA Bass too.. Finally, Mr Dart's neck vertebrae are going to be utterly wrecked by his late 50's surely.
Thanks to Kiesel FB page have been getting into a startlingly good Country/Chickenpickin' Guitarist called Johnny Hiland. Sweep picking with additional fingernails and loads of Ghost Notes. Not my usual Genre at all but he's a Phenom for sure.
As per EJ thread, Elton's car crash during recent streamed performance was utterly toe-curling. There's a rather cruel subtitled version doing the rounds on Facebook which is bloody funny.
