  1. What a Beast. Wish I could afford it. G.L.W.T.S
  2. Am bidding on an N115 at present. Fed up of trying to transport my Trace T1818 (already).
  3. Skúli is brilliant , saw him playing with Allan Holdsworth @ Brentford Watermans many moons ago. There's a probable urban myth about him clashing with Bjork when he was producing the Sugarcubes !
  4. One of those ear-worms used in "Star Trek - the Wrath of Khan" ??
  5. Got an N410 recently. These are brilliant Cabs. Good luck with the Sale.
  6. Have you seen the Mike Lull Thunderbird for sale on one of the Facebook Pages. Glorious
  7. Check the Gordon Smith Group on Facebook from earlier this yr. A cute white semi hollow short/medium scale's in prototype stage.
  8. Yes Indeed they were testing a gorgeous white semi-hollow one earlier this year. Always amazes me how reasonably priced GS guitars are.
  9. Me and my pals (of all musical tastes) soundtrack to the early 80's - jamie's crying and the rest. Such Fun
  10. Yes, hope I get it, even if bid is only a fiver less than the N410. The Trace sounds incredible and works very well with the Laney (full tweeter) but is bloody awkward for sure. Too small to be carried comfortably by 2 people but emphatically too heavy for 1 person. Oddly the head's weight doesn't worry me so much, stout padded handle on side and residual core strength (used to be a Rower !!). Along with it seeming Bomb Proof. Heavy Amp Lightweight Cabs. And all for less than the cost of even a modest Barefaced, Result.
  11. Hope I get it, can halt Cab G.A.S after that and commence an effects fetish instead !! Can you see my photo link above O.K btw. Can't seem to get my head round the Tech unless it was "made in Essex" and concrete heavy.!!
  12. Went very old school with a mid-life crisis Rig recently.Apart from the excellent light weight modern 4x10 anyway.
  13. A staggering array of equipment. Wonderful/Fascinating. If I had the money I think I'd have to spend it on a Bass though. Aren't you going to miss having it? G.L.W.T.S.
  14. If and when it comes back home I'll get one of those electric powered washing machine trolleys for the occasion ! The penalty of a midlife crisis Rig. TBH with the handle on the head I'm not bothered about moving it. Took it back home today. Have now taken out some insurance for all this stuff.
  15. Yeah I know, it was living up 64 steps here till today.!!! However it does do b-strings in an inimitable fashion ! Had invested in a nice quality 8 metre instrument lead so we were able to retire to a safe distance. The fan was on high setting for a while, things were rather silly for a bit !!
  16. Decided Central London was a place to escape today, took all of the stuff up to a friend's practice space early this morning (borrowed a friend's estate car). Did some bi- amping experimentation, wound the amp output down a bit on one of his nice guitar cabs for the highs. Also did the 4 bass cabs thing on split full range. Holy Moly that is more than 500 watts, think I might have bruised Kidneys! His Rickenbacker sounded so good along with his nice Jaguar. However my Sire M2 more than held its own, those pickups and pre amp kick out some output (needed to wind the gain back). My KSD 5er (Audere Pre) with new d'Addario Tapewounds sounds simply massive. Thank you for the Amp sir. Have just put in a bid on a Laney N115, moving the Trace 1818 is rather a trial!
  17. Think some amplifier kit of his is up for sale as well.
  18. One of these in L/handed configuration has been a dream of mine for a while. Wish I had the money at present. GLWTS
  19. And now I will start getting effects G.A.S to go with a good rig.
  20. Got the download am waiting for the CD. It's a bit "busy" but I really like it, their playing is as impressive as ever
  21. Thanks will try massaging the photo a bit. Phones a cheapish Nokia I bought to replace a much nicer contract Samsung a20 that got stolen.
  22. Can't seem to get photos to show direct only able to post a URL Google Gallery link with the choose files method.
  23. The new Go Go Penguin Album
  24. https://photos.app.goo.gl/tEYWYzVPpGTCYHt87 Hope this works, had difficulty getting this from my phone. Picture Quality not great. Am probably going to grab the Birmingham N115, it's back up on ebay. Bound to be more portable than the TE t1818!
  25. Will pop it out onto balcony int' Sun tomorrow and do some pics (with my 2 nicer Basses ) Suspect I might also check the acoustics on the tiled staircase/blow away the drifts of Skunk wafting up from the kiddies below.
