    Some of Eastwood's basses look like a sort of "Flash Gordon on Acid" nightmare to me. Each to their own I guess. Someone on Basses and Amplification FB Group loves his AK-47 Bass 😞😅

    Had an Audiolab 8000a with Gale Gs01 speakers for a long time. Wish I'd kept them as am still nostalgic for the way they produced music.

    Acquired a Laney N115 today - to go with an N410. These are brilliant Cabs and are very well matched both have LaVoce compression HF drivers. Studios where I picked this up use N210 & N115 combined with the SL head in most of their rooms. More on that in another thread, v impressive combination.

    It's on sale at Yeovil Guitars. Reduced from £295. No idea what it is either, allegedly constructed by a French Luthier.

    Am going to check an SL out on Monday while I'm picking up an N115 Cab, there's an N210 there as well. A friend's thinking about buying the head. Better remember to take a Bass 😆 Will report next week I guess.

    Both are very tempting, both in much better nick than my 605. UK one seems to have the original Pre-amp. Rather than repair mine's solder blobs etc I replaced with an Audere courtesy of @Chimike

    Was about to suggest that you PM'd @chimike having been to get a TE1818 from him recently and witnessed some of his TE wondroussness . Enjoy your great Amp when it arrives. Are you aware that Ashdown have floated the possibility of undertaking servicing classic TE kit, though Essex a fair way from Lewes.

    Will report when I've got it. Friend and I might be going halves on Berserker's Epifani that's on here. If I pay half then he wants to buy the Bassblock that's on here to use with it. I just want to hear an AH500x thru an Epifani @ 4ohms. Were we referring to GAS at some point ?!??

    Same seller as I got N115 from, in Brum. Didn't sell his 210, he's also got a Laney Nexus 1000watt tube pre/class D on sale.

    Still sounds awesome with Room to breathe. Am casting around for a decent octaver/synth to see if I can induce queasiness in my Jam pals that isn't in response to my playing. Or Rig induced delusions of grandeur/megalomania.😀😃🤣

    Saw them live at Forum in Kentish Town a few years ago. Once I got into the sound "sweet spot" I even attempted some dancing. They were top notch !

    Skúli is brilliant , saw him playing with Allan Holdsworth @ Brentford Watermans many moons ago. There's a probable urban myth about him clashing with Bjork when he was producing the Sugarcubes !
