1. My Ibanez with Warwick Blacks gets used for a rock-ish covers band (Chilis and Muse) and a metal/dancecore band, it's all good. I use my EQ lots. I guess I might get a P in the future for some stuff, but I'm happy with my beautiful Ibby at the moment.
2. I'm in two bands at the moment. 1- A metal/dancecore band that is lovely. I play bass, and I essentially have complete freedom so long as it fits the song. The keyboardist and guitarist are always perfectionist about each other's parts, but I often ask "is this alright?" instead of being told/asked to change it. They always say "yeah, fine, whatever" though. XD The way we write is that the keyboardist or guitarist will have a riff and the rest of us will put stuff around it, I normally follow the guitars with harmonies. 2- A punk/ska/grind/blues/metal band, where I play guitar and sing. I tend to write everything, as the drummer doesn't have many ideas and the bassist has just started playing.
3. So I just broke a string on my guitar. I simply cannot be arsed with this bloody tremolo, so here is a chance to get yourself a lovely guitar. It is amazing if you have the patience, but for me it's too much hassle. It has a licensed Floyd Rose, a locking nut, 24 frets, a Wizard neck and stock Ibanez pups (which sound great ). I will sell it in a gigbag with a free strap. It has a pickholder on the back of the headstock that can be removed if you want. I will trade for any decent fixed-bridge guitar, a 7 would be nice, but I don't mind that much. PM me with offers. Thanks,
4. I don't know how well you can hear me, I had to use an Ampeg that made me blend with the guitars. My profile pic is from this gig!
5. Interested, may buy once I sort out my monies. Have a bump also
6. Solid pedal, good luck with the sale. Hi btw.
7. Sold to BigAlonBass tonight if all goes well
8. Lovely guitar with a licensed Floyd Rose, 24 frets, and stock Ibanez pups. Black finish (small chip). Ridiculously low action. The reason I'm selling is twofold: I want a 7 string and the tremolo means you can't use alternative tunings. This is obviously a problem for (especially modern) metal. So it pains me to do it, but I am selling this to get cash for a new 7. Willing to trade for Schecter, ESP, or similar 7s. Pics up at some point, request details if you want.
9. Sale fell through, so this is a bump.
10. Would you be interested in a Bad Monkey?
11. Would you be interested in a Bad Monkey?
12. Interested, PM'd. Do you have any shots of the back?
13. So I have managed to dent my Ibanez. How do I remove the scratch? The finish is natural with a kind of red/dark varnish, but I can see the wood underneath in the chip. I used guitar polish on the whole body, and that helped a little but there's still a massive scratch on it. How can I fix this?
14. Well, my synth player took me to see Sonic Boom Six. I didn't dislike them per se, they just aren't really my thing. I was blown away by them, and all three support acts, Difference Engine, Random Hand and The Skints. They were well good, and bloody energetic too
15. So I got my old rig. Then I got my new head, the Ashdown Little Giant 1000. This was great, but my cabs are 350w, and the head's outputs are 500w (2x500=1000. I know!) So that was pretty stupid of me. Is anyone willing to trade me my 2 cabs for a 500w+ cab?
16. I think the PBDDI looks to be about right. And you could sell off the old stuff too
17.
Any pics available?
Top post edit^
18. I hate, absolutely hate Thunderbirds. But this... she's beautiful, enjoy her!
19. I bought this head as an introduction to real amps- it was so much better than that. It has a lovely warm tone, I'm selling it for £160 or a trade for a lightweight cab, or some effects, or a laptop, or something else I might want, I'm flexible. It runs at 700w at 2ohms, or 475w at 4ohms, I'm selling it with 1 cab lead and a power lead thrown in.
