1. Jim passed away in May. I attended a money-raising testimonial gig for him earlier. Jim was in fairly good fettle at that event, though obviously weak. There were a few local bands featured, some playing his gutars, but one line-up played 'Spirit in the Sky' with Jim sitting in the front row. Maybe they thought it was apprpriate
2. Cheers Ben. Good piccies. I particularly like the body shot where you appear in the reflection of all three knobs. Trust it's settling in OK and presumably you're as happy as a man with three knobs.
3.
7 songs well spaced out.
Not sure you should be in church under the influence of drugs Tom. Hope you manage to keep playing a fair bit longer in spite of the arthritis.
4.
It's the ideal shape to hit the culprit over the head with.
"thankyou to read my Describe" Maybe he's been hit once already.
5. It's the ideal shape to hit the culprit over the head with.
6. NOW SOLD. Thanks to those who took an interest. (I could always build another one ).
7.
The head won't fit in my case unless I take the feet off
Are you trying to smuggle an illegal immigrant?
8. The neck profile started off similar to a 70s Precision and was dressed away at the 'shoulders' to give the feel of a slimmer neck without losing any 'front to back' strength (if that makes any sense). It retains the standard 42mm width at the nut. The weight comes in at around 5K according to fairly dodgy bathroom scales.
9. Bump. Just 'cos if the Jazz is sold, I can get a deal on the Tele-style bass wot I'm flogging
10. Just 'completed' a transaction with Trev. It wobbled a little and we're both a bit wiser. Splendid chap to deal with.
11. Bump with price reduction.
12. Sorry, the Badass is chrome. And still here, look:-
13.
Dibs on pre-amp, message you when I get home.
OK it's yours if you want it. I should point out that I could provide a control plate if required but it's not a real one.
14. Cheers Chris. If I ever put the sofa up for sale I'll let you have first dibs. May not get away with it as 'musically related item' though. Then again.......
15. I have for sale an 80s Musicman pre-amp £65.00 posted. And a Badass II pre-cut for Fender spacing £65.00 posted. The bridge has screws with it! (hard to find, 3 of them were down the back of the sofa). The pre does not have a control plate or knobs (for any readers from Ashington that's "nee contrerrl plate or nerbs").
16. A step too near the bridge IMO.
17. Nice playing.
Except about the moobs.
Sorry, exceptions not allowed. I see you come from Bristol...... And horizontal stripes are a no-no.
18. I've found this in my spares box. It should be a match for the broken bit of yours except it's nickel whereas yours appear to be chrome?
19. I've got loads of spares but would probably need one of yours to match the thread.
20. 21. Just sold Mark a pickup. Great guy to deal with - prompt payment and good communications.
22. There's a song about at the moment:- # I need a Lollar, Lollar Lollar is what I need# (actually any of the 4 mentioned would be fine).
23. Werewolves of Loughborough.
