  3. I was gonna say extactly this. and this:
  4. Hi gang, I have a chance to compare the ABM 600 Evo IV and the CTM 100 - what shall I expect by comparison? Thoughts likes and dislikes? @BassAdder60 I think you had both? I want to thread lightly as I’m curious and itchy about the CTM 100 but I do love my ABM 600 too!
  5. I’m getting this if available!
  6. YES. I was excited at the thought of having and octaver built in but ah… no thanks. I do have the valve drive on though as it thickens up quite nicely without adding brrrrrrr if kept at 11 o’clock!

  8. Lovely pedal, you know what it does...! Postage not included.
  9. This is a true gem of a bass and a true gentleman in this community… wish I could justify another Precision cause this is as unique as it gets! I’ve played this very bass in person and can testify it’s yet better than it looks. Light, easy, great finish. Starting to lightly check at the back in a natural way.
  10. Ian just bought my Effectrode PC-2A, great chap with good knowledge on pedals and a luscious Motown pair of hands! Great to meet you buddy, enjoy it!
  11. Ha! The thing is it already matches the cab and I’m loving it! if the right valve Ampeg turns up we’ll have to speak though - an itch to scratch I guess! Take care buddy … and best luck to the seller of this jewel!
  12. this is a steal and I would buy it myself if it wasn't for the fact that I've the ABM 600 20th anniversary.
  13. and I can swear it sounds better than it looks 🫠
  14. This is the Jazz that I’ve loved most in my years playing! Pity a Ric 4003 got in the way otherwise it’d definitely stay!
  15. And there’s also the rhetorical question whether I should ditch the whole thing and get back to an Alpha Omega Photon that I regret not having explored enough 😁… all those pedals amount to quite a bit more than an AOP second hand…!
  16. Yup - prices are ridiculous, especially new!!!
  17. Hm, I had the vintage ultra and didn’t find myself having the cleanly distorted tone I wanted - great for an old school gritty tone though, of course!
  18. haha! thank you @lee650, amended! Hope you're well buddy!
  19. Haha! Love it, the grit and character, but the guys and previous recordings are used to my Darkglass stuff, hence that! I recorded some bits on B7k/Alpha Omegas so I guess that’ll be the upcoming for the band at least for this EP round…! just posted it for sale, let me know…!
  20. *Darkglass and effectrode sold Selling a few pedals to clear out as staying with my mini board: Fuzzrocious Lil Fella - £120 - mint condition - covers distortion to fuzz, internal noise gate, super versatile Tate FX Buffer - £40 - buffer working up to 18v, confirmed by TateFx same pedal as current £75 pedal (can share conversation on instagram with them) - lights up on the bottom and changes colour. Postage not included.
  21. Also learnt about pedal order... FUZZ FIRST has been a big reveal That also frees up the DI from the B7k in case I need to use it.
  22. Hmm, interesting! Guess I could open the good old debate of Microtubes X7 vs Alpha Omega, I kind of want to stick to Darkglass...!
  23. Aha! thanks @fretmeister those are actually pretty cheap, could give them a go...! As you can see by the picture I quickly maxed out the B7k's distortion @Cuzzie and @andruca ... Love the sound as is but could do with some more I reckon... Hmmmmmmm may be Alpha Omega time? Ander.
