I think it's all sorted and straight up with Thomann, I bought recently a £380 bass and didn't have to pay over any extra

Same for sure - even if it doesn't fit the genre I still want it. Ander.

I agree. The slanted silhouette makes it gorgeous and makes it standout from your Marusczyks and Cory/Ibanez Fauxdera vibes. Ander.

Oh possibly so! Bax lists the current F10 T £1350 so yeah your guess is probs more accurate!

Yep wooden ramp added as an accessory for both F10 DX/DC 😊 Playing punk rock I've no business getting one of those F10 but still tempting. I somehow convinced myself I can rock a black headless M6 anyway 😂 The F10 could always be my soul 5 string "all else" genres bass right.... Right...? 😂 Ander.

As usual Sire just slipped out the new basses ahead of NAMM! For 2026 we highlight * P7/V7/V7 vintage. "New Gen" takes over Gen 2 in what seems satin finish? I can't see much gloss there. New neck profile, colours and electronics. Consistency in weight, chambered bodies * Headless/headed top rsnge - F10 DX and X10 DX. How did Fodera not sure I do not know, but I love it. I'm assuming these will come at £1200 ISH £1500+ (thanks @MichaelDean)? Hard case and wooden covers and wooden ramp as accessory. * Other colour updates and edits, to note the Dingwall Nolly swirly finishes... https://www.sire-usa.com/pages/2026-marcus-miller-new-models What do you think? Ander.

By way of update from my diggings you can get knurled tuning gears from Sire, I think for free as they did a bit of a mea culpa for the current designs. Any more impressions from these basses? I just ordered the swamp ash version for a juicy £616 with Bad Shop. It should be here maybe maybe maybe next week. Ander.

Hi Gang! Hope everyones good. Putting my Ashdown head for sale- this is from December 2024 and used half a dozen times basically and can prove it. Working perfectly and with a fresh bill of service/review by Dave at Ashdown from September 2025 (faulty input jack) so fresh and ongoing warranty. Going digital with the band (Anagram + IEMs) so no use for this sadly. The head comes with cover, mint, plus footswitch (4x button). Happy to post, or short drive.

Martin bought my Ashdown RM 500 Evo II - super reliable and serious buyer, would totally recomment. Great comms, responsive and a lovely chap to deal with! Thanks Martin Ander.

Well - if there's anything I should know by now is how things can change! I no longer play 5 strings and much as I do love this bass (c'mon, no surprise it was meant to be 'The One') I've got no space for it. It hasn't seen time outside the house and it is exactly as I received it, bought new with all case and candy and the mono lightweight case. I've bought a new motorcycle too, and my band is exclusivelly on 4 strings, so I guess shifting priorities and all that... 3.9kg, lightest Darkray I've seen - the Alpha Omega circuit is actually NOT a gimmick and stacks beautifully with board gain stages and effects. Bought October last year, can share receipt at £3k. Seeing it cheapest at £2.9k from a search, it seems this is fair asking price. Shipping at your cost and risk, but much rather hand deliver sharing petrol or similar. Best, Ander.

Hi Gang! Hope everyones good. Putting my Ashdown rig on sale - this is from December 2024 so 6 months old basically and can prove it. Working perfectly and taken out to rehearsal just 3 times, but going digital with the band (Anagram + IEMs) so no use for this sadly. The head comes with cover, mint. Cabs with minimum scratches - enough to feel them with a nail but not cut thru the tolex - I can still remember the trip where this happen and facepalmed myself. Cabs are about 14kg each or so, can carry the whole rig two handed. Tweeters on OFF/MID/Hi on both cabs. Would prefer selling as a rig. If separate: RM 500 EVO III head £400 w/ cover ABM 2x10 EVO IV Pro Line (not the compact) £400 ABM 1x15 EVO IV Pro Line £350 Take the whole rig for £1k and I'll add the foodswitch and cables too. NOTE: Decoloration is only because of having wiped them with a wet cloth to clean the scratches for more accurate picture - they are black all over and even of course.
