    Right... so, the bass arrived. First impressions: * Love the colour and bass itself, dimensions... Neck is better than any Sterling I've had or tried, potentially more SLO/Jazz than I remember in the Stingrays * Weight came in at 4.20kg, I'm happy * Plasticky knobs are sh!t and would replace them, the volume one came awfully misaligned too. * The batteries contact are RUSTY AF and have rust on the contacts of the battery cavity - meaning the active circuitry does not work AT. ALL. * Passive tones work and they're lovely, very MM indeed - the jazz pickup is lower volume but needs raising anyway as it's pretty low now. Well done Andertons, well done... sounds like either the batteries came with no protective film and storage made its work to rust them, or that Andertons unwrapped them and storage still did its thing. Anyone with insight on this? is is a direct return, or should it work? Arrrrrgh...... Ander. PS: of course my first intent is to replace the batteries rather than return, but still... I'll post pictures in a bit!

    So I am auditioning for a punk rock ska type of band and my 37” multiscale Ibanez 5er is overkill and too big dimensions for it. I’ve got a z7 mint on the way from Anderson’s I should receive tomorrow… hopefully the QC is spot on and comes just right! tempted to buy a couple more and return the worst two reading what I’ve read 😅 how was the returns process everyone? Ander.

    What I call the king of fuzz - love this pedal but alas no more bands/stage - with an upcoming trip to Japan, some gear must go. Owned from new, bought this year, absolutely mint: Postage on top.

    Up for sale this beauty - I love a good Eich amp! This one is impeccable and produces enough for live music and home practise - the taste knob does a lot of magic as you probably know. I am no longer in bands and a trip to Japan means something has to go. Mint with no issues. Comes with Eich cover of course.

    Hey All, Putting these beauties on sale. I just can't justify having them if I'm not in bands anymore! I'll look for cash only. £1400, NG 3 Gold: Rare to come across used - Impeccable - and with quality inlay stickers that a) match the pickguard and b) can be removed without any residue nor product. Tiny 'perfect circle' mark of what looks could be factory blemish - not checked nor cracked anywhere. Fresh Newtone strings, 45-170, Drop F# professionally set up. 4.1kg. Dunlop Straplocks, will include Dingwall strap. £1000 D-Roc 4 Aquamarine: Mint and also with the Neck Illusions inlays matching the bod. Fresh Newtone Strings, 45-124, Drop B professionally set up. Stupid light at 3.6kg. If you need more pictures or details please ask, but yep, they're stunners and mint as I said except for the detail below on the NG. I reserve the right to withdraw, it may indeed happen since I love them but I'm travelling to Japan so something's got to go...!

    Hey gang - I've done a search for Northampton and surroundings, don't mind a little drive but I'm happy to hear recommendations for a reliable luthier. Set up to Drop F# and 0.174 will need good hands - I normally go for Rob Bowman, superb, in Irthlingborough, but super difficult to get ahold of most times. Thanks!
