  1. Having a hell of a Friday morning here, thanks! haha loving it, coffee in hand, some decent lead tones.
  2. Ciaran bought my Darkglass ADAM pedal - prompt comms and payment, no faffing about and very understanding when I needed an extra day to ship off from the agreed. Would most definitely recommend and deal with him again. Thanks @WHUFC BASS!
  3. Is it David's time for a non FSO?
  4. Interested in swaps for the 5 output one?
  5. Haha! Yeah I’m enjoying it quite a lot. I’ll admit that what Ric lovers call ‘quirky’ features are nothing but design errors to me, but it’s comfortable, charming and sounds amazing! now hoping to close the can of worms… but I said what I said 🤣
  6. @Daz39 and @Quatschmacher, thanks! Well I guess that throws me in the debate of C4 vs Future Compact, eh? Lots to read on that from my inexperienced eyes!
  7. hmmm just noting the FI will take much more real estate on the board, throw me off into 'bigger than Nano+' territory, sadly.
  8. Hmmm! noted, thanks an awful lot @Quatschmacher, will review.
  9. Hm! Something to look into - I have been, for some time, thinking a bout expanding my mini board to a Nano+ (currently have tuner / Blackstone mosfet OD / Zvex fuzz / Lil Fella Distortion / Compressor Clone / Zvex Chorus)... ... Knowing as I hate huge boards, I was thinking on adding an octaver (fuzz / chorus / octaver are to me the trinity of bass effects after all)... BUT, I always try to find an excuse to have shimmer (ie. pads?) and would be curious/good to have a filter. I've also seen the great possibilities of this to do a Boss OC-2 type of thing - to my ears it's good enough at least. So, add my love for Moog's synth tones, and it seems quite obvious my best shot would be a C4. Would you guys say it is an interface/app good enough to learn some synthesis basics? I know I could just use it with the pre-made presets, but hopefully this pedal could quench my thirst for an actual synth and take filter / shimmer / octave effects with me along the way...
  10. Ah, I could do! Can bring any from my signature, likely 😀
  11. Can someone award this man on his taste? Why on earth do you have all the bits I like Ian…! Ah, if only I could!
  12. Still kicking myself I sold you mine - one of these days one of these will find it’s way back into the collection. GLWTS OP!
  13. ha! I like this line of work - very curious on the MBD2…! I, like you, have had the AO/AOP/ADAM/Microtubes… love the darkglass stuff but I find they eat bottom too much. Now with a new amp head on lend thanks to @Bunion my pedals sound different thru valve… the Adam sounds fuzzier, and the lil fella just sounds more full and crunchy, allows for more distortion kept clear and defined…! I now find myself wanting an octave but I don’t have space unless I go for a Nano+!
  14. Haha! Mind you I do think I could complete it with an Octaver but I’d need to swap to a Nano+ and Daisy chain another pedal which I don’t love… Ander.
  15. Paul just bought my amp - after some back and forth (from my end) due to logistics to deliver, the man finally got the amp he teased for! lovely chap to deal with, great comms and a wonderful host! Would most def recommend! Ander.
  16. I’ve played this last weekend and it’s just a lovely lovely bass! Plays great, low action, good weight, rumbles and has a lovely depth. And a trustworthy BC’er!
  17. Well - I've got a new amp head at home that has challenged some of the pedals I've got, and I went out to uncover the analog toys. If you look up 'squeeze' in the dictionary, this will show up:
  18. Does what you know it does! a crunchier distortion - still has the Darkglass highs, and does fuzz too. Only selling since there's no space in my mini board and I took some old pedals out:

  19. Hmmmm now that I’m after a full tube amp this would be a perfect backup… 👀 I’m gonna have to do some numbers.
  20. Hmmmm! My only grit is finding out whether the V4b can pull loud with the Six10, I'd be inclined to think so but some folk on the internets are saying it's not as loud... (trying them with 2x12s and 4x12s, that is). I'd just really want to see it get better than the ABM 600, which in my mind is very complicated, but then again I've polished my basses pedals and cabinet so looking whether it's possible to improve the bass head without spending much money...!
  21. ah shucks mate, ta… but I’m about to bring home an Ampeg V4b this Friday… 👀
  22. A few changes but really liking this, especially the Blackstone Mosfet overdrive! Brings even flat wounds to life and grit, mid goodness too!
  23. Solving the midterm, mine is from hotcovers. Quite a quick turnaround and loving the padding.
  24. It may well be the one I have, can’t remember the name but I love it!
