1. I'd buy his US Jazz if I were you!
2. You should pick up one of the Warwick flightcases, they are really cheap from Thomann and very solid. http://www.thomann.de/gb/warwick_ebass_flightcase.htm
3. I'm not fussed by the condition when buying used basses now, if I own something from new, it pretty much always stays as new, but for example my Vigier has a few dings etc, and I don't mind, my Sandberg is relic'd so is covered in marks!
4. This is sold pending collection/payment tomorrow! I can't pinpoint why I prefer my 2x10 really, but I know I do, I guess I just prefer the sound of 10" speakers.
5. Not a fan of P basses, but that is an awesome colour.
6. I don't get why all these new companies don't get someone to design them a decent logo so it doesn't look like cheap rubbish!
7. 300 watts, 8 ohms!
8. I would get a Gotoh, they are nice, and cheap too.
9. Another bump as it was a bit lost!
10.
I'm both too and find my Streamer LX really comfy, they are heavy basses but its worth the sacrifice for what you gain in feel and tone compared to lesser instruments I think. Maybe you chose the wrong model
I didn't really choose a model thinking I wanted a Warwick, I just have always wanted to have a Thumb bass for some reason and one came up at a decent price, my previous Warwicks I got on with fine in terms of comfort (Corvette and Dolphin Pro mentioned earlier). I don't really want to change it though, as it sounds awesome, and the neck especially looks sweet with the grain of the wenge, plus sitting down it's comfortable.
11. Maybe it's just not a bass for fattys or shortys, I am unfortunately both, haha.
12. I normally wear them at an average height, I tried it lower and higher last night, lower seemed a bit better as I could pull the neck up some and push the body down. My old Corvette was always pretty comfortable, and so was my Dolphin, either way, it's probably gonna be third choice behind the Sandberg and Vigier anyway, but could come in handy when I want a big growly sound in the studio.
13. I have a massive thick leather levy's strap that I was using with it last night (soft leather, not their normal ones, although I have one of them too which is good). I quite like the location of the pickups for resting my thumb.
14. Na, not the weight, since the body is so small, that doesn't seem an issue, just the way it hangs really, couldn't get the body sitting comfortably.
15. I got a BO Thumb from here a few weeks ago now and took it to band practice last night, it sounds awesome, but I find it very uncomfortable to wear, anyone else have this issue? Sitting down it's nice, I think I may just use it as a studio bass.
16. They remind me of Sandberg, are they linked somehow?
17. That is very ugly.
18. Yeah, seems pretty normal to me, I wouldn't expect a temp replacement.
19. Teh bump! May consider swapping for a 4x10? With cash going your way if it's a good one like SWR, Eden etc.
20. Some awesome stuff there.
21. They have a Dolphin Pro for £999 too, I still kinda miss my old one of them so it was tempting, check out the soundcontrol website for a list of all the stuff on sale.
22. Did you check out the bass centre sale?
23. You have the risk of buying on ebay from abroad, but apart from that, that bass does look sweet. I have only bought from ebay a few times from abroad (America/Canada/Germany) and all worked out fine for me, but still try to avoid the site nowadays.
24. That one in spain looks really awesome.
25. He talks poop.
