    My BTB! It’s so big and heavy it doesn’t get much gig time (well, you know what I mean!) but I can’t ever let it go. Loads of gigs with this over the years, chips, dings, scratches, my thumb’s worn a hole in the front pickup. Sounds amazing too... USA Bart pups and pre. I think they’re real marmite basses these... 19mm on a fiver and a flat neck aren’t for everyone. Let alone the looks. 2005 Korean (weirdly.... not Japan!) BTB1205 Prestige. £760 new from Sound On Sound (I think!) in Feb 2006. 11lbs on the nose

    I’ll second that. This is a steal, had one of those in a Sandberg once, GREAT bass control. If anyone’s cab can take it at full bore i demand to see a video!

    Well there we go. Ordered Wednesday, arrived today (Friday). Plug in, calibrate, program an expression CC into the MC6 and voila! Foot control of filter frequency... and any other function on the C4. For £12.90 this can be considered no brainer of the month.

    These keys are sooo good. My mate Kev the Keys uses one of these and I’m mates with some of the Yamaha boys behind it. Proper great bit of kit this....the audio outs are spot on for live work, local monitoring etc. GLWTS!

    Curious / stupid question: why do the specs list passive VVT when it’s active? What are the controls and what make is the preamp? Guessing vol, blend, 3 band EQ and passive tone? When I win Euromilions on Friday I’ll be back within seconds of the winning ticket being confirmed!

    Very nice! That’s making use of the ins and put very nicely! So you’re using a computer USB hub so your PC doesn’t need plugging into the various pedals? Smart!
