Wow, this fantastic to hear in isolation. Thanks for posting. I will be eternally in awe of that gigantic vibrating sound. Amaaazzzzing bassist.

So the 'components' are other frequencies? The 'beat' created by two notes is also a 'note'? I still don't understand waveform depiction like the type you get on computers; is there any way you can tell how many 'notes' (for example) there are just by the visual interpretation? Perhaps that's where the confusion is; the visual interpretation seems to only represent one note peaks when it obviously contains many harmonics..?

The only mistake I made with the spec was not thinking about where the dots on the side go, so the bass is back with Alan and I've asked him to move the dots under the fretmarkers rather than having them in the middle. It's amazing how bad my eyes are now, I'm sorry to say. I just cannot see the fretlines in anything but bright sunlight so I'll have to rely on the dots. Visual guides have become more of a priority in my middle age. I didn't anticipate that.
