I agree. If you were buying studio monitors for your recording setup, that would be tier 2, but laptop speakers don't count.

We, after a little resistance, enforced the use of CCLI song select numbers to identify songs unambiguously. Where the song isn't part of CCLI we have to purchase the music and send the words round. Or just not play it as they tend to be cheesy US songs 😉

Of those I recognise every title those starting "O" being old hymns. The "Do not be afraid " I know was written by a member of our congregation, so it can't be the same one. Which are new to you?

Our church verse for the year, Isaiah 43:18: “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?" That's going to be my excuse for any "novel" notes on Sunday morning which weren't there at the practice or on the chord chart. I shall call it "Isaiah Jazz" 😎

Stay strong on the path, brother. In other news the UK apparently might have a GAS shortage, so if we don't buy anything we could perhaps use our pent-up gas to help keep the country warm?

Never seen one of these before. How does it work? What does it sound like? Why do I think it looks pretty cool even though I can't think how I could use it on stage?

With two transmitters per receiver- does that mean you can have two basses ready set up with the transmitters on the straps, connecting to the same receiver and pedalboard? Presumably you have to switch off the transmitter on the one you're not playing? -

I watched the Ian King video at lunch. Really nice to see what's important to someone playing for a living and why. At nearly $1000 that Caveman pre-amp and DI is well out of my price range, but it's just the right tool for the job in his case.
