1. I am considering buying some new pups for one of my basses as its sound needs a kick up the ass. I'm not too sure what pick-ups will fit and how to find out. Do you go by dimensions, screw holes or what do you do? the websites i want to buy off don't offer sizes or dimensions. if anyone is wandering, im hoping to put one or two in my first bass. which is an early issue of an Ibanez SRX300 which i still love. Im gonna look at some barts i think. help would be appreciated.

 6.
I actually quite like it. Very good cover of a traditional song. This further exemplifies that a bass can be used for many things.
good point. I also use mine as a cheese board.
 7.
I think I'll try my hand at some death jazz.
what about "Black jazz" it isnt rude. its a band called Ephel Duath. they used to be a black metal band which developed into a weird jazz experimental thing which is all a bit mental really but their album "the painters pallette" was quite brilliant crossing jazz over with the likes of black and death metal. if you like your metal check them out, especially that particular album. 8. gargh i hate it when music shop assistant talk like this. theres a shop near me where the guy criticised my own set-up, that he never heard or even seen before and told me to buy something else. and guess what. he was a drummer. theres also a shop nearby that asks if you have the money before(!) you try something out.

 20. thats a pretty cool finish. i cant help but piss myslef at some of the relic type stuff brands like vintage come out with...finishes so that you can actually see the sandpaper marks. rediculous
 21. fair play man. thats nice. youre a lucky sod. how do you guys afford allt his stuff. i should probobally stop working at m+s...
 22. essentially what ive got, i dont have my own pictures. my stuff is at the practise space. i occasionally use my Hartke 2.5XL with an additional pre-amp (if theres one lying around - usually ashdown) for extra ampage. i dont use many effects, i mainly use an EHX q-tron and various distortions. although im not a big overdrive or distortion fan. Ive been wanting an octave pedal for a while. I just can't settle on one desicion . Got any good choices i could look at?

 25. i really dont enjoy this show much anymore, 90% of the stuff on there is bollocks found mostly in the charts and the rest...well you might be lucky to catch something quite decent. the standard i think has dropped a fair bit since re-airing the show at a earlier time. maybe that has something to do with it. i used to love this show and find it very interesting and i think the interviews were far more enjoyable...
