these pedals sound rather awesome.

i went to the big music store in birmingham, the one opposite new street station, recently. i couldn't believe how friendly and helpful the bloke was. he was letting me try everything and saying "if you didnt like that, why not try this" what a diamond of a bloke. he didn't hover around, stare and make you feel uncomfortable as you play like alot of people do in shops, obviously all the guitarists were staring, but the guy just buggered off and let me get on with it. thats what i like.

cheers guys. i dont think theres a review there for the exact one but i as i gather they are pretty darn good pedals. so i might invest in one

I am considering buying some new pups for one of my basses as its sound needs a kick up the ass. I'm not too sure what pick-ups will fit and how to find out. Do you go by dimensions, screw holes or what do you do? the websites i want to buy off don't offer sizes or dimensions. if anyone is wandering, im hoping to put one or two in my first bass. which is an early issue of an Ibanez SRX300 which i still love. Im gonna look at some barts i think. help would be appreciated.

gargh i hate it when music shop assistant talk like this. theres a shop near me where the guy criticised my own set-up, that he never heard or even seen before and told me to buy something else. and guess what. he was a drummer. theres also a shop nearby that asks if you have the money before(!) you try something out.
