Quite possibly. But how you use it and what you use it with will contribute to how it sounds like of course.

i always seem to play american life by primus and cygnus x-1 by rush or just random scales. sometimes i will play crap people wouldnt have any interest in like a golden earing bassline just so people wont watch me

This pedal arrived the other day. Im really impressed with it. It was essientially what i was looking for, i needed a proper bright growl that i could leave on pretty much most of the time. Id suggest try one first, I think im lucky that i liked it pretty much straight away! Verdict: fookan sweet

try playing the song while say, watching tv. Learn how to play the song without having to concentrate that much. Thats how i learned. I had to sing death metal and play bass too. That was pretty difficult but after pushing myself i got somewhere
